Ok hmmm...things I have in common with Clay-

1. I'm afraid of elevators.
2. Our birthdays are both in November...
3. I have a friend who can turn his feet backwards, I can't actually do it myself.
4. I love Krispy Kremes...(ok, I'll admit I hadn't actually heard of them before Clay, but since he came around, Krispy Kremes are sold around me and I LOVE them!)
5. I'm afraid of cats.

There might be more...but I can't think of any right now!

LOL  I think we all relate to him in some way, and that's why we love him in such a personal manner.

I have several things in common with Clay.

1.  I just wrote a book about my life.
2.  I have red hair, green eyes, and freckles.
3.  I had an abusive father.
4.  We both lost sisters named Deb.  (Debbie.)
5.  We both have a Nanny and a Papa.
6.  I was smart and geeky, too.
7.  I had a Ford Escort.
8.  I had an alcoholic father.
9.  I am a red-headed step child.
10.  I get teased because I love my mama.
11.  I, too, went to college to learn how to help people with disabilities and illnesses.
12.   I got one dream date with the quaterback of the football team, but I had to sneak out to do it.
13.  I'm a Christian who believes you don't have to sit in a church pew every Sunday to love the Lord and worship Christ.

And ... most importantly ...  We both think Simon is "MEAN to people!"

I would put "green eyes," but mine change color..sometimes they're green, then once in a while they're blue, or sometimes grey. Freaky.

ROFL, Marilyn!     I sure hope not!  No, for him it was the Prom Queen. And before someone asks, no - I never dated the Prom Queen.  LOL  LadyC doesn't swing that way.  


And on a completely unrelated note, I'm watching AI and I just saw the he/she that worships Kelly Clarkson and he warbled (sing is too strong of a word for it) I Never Lived Before Your Love.

Great question and liked what everyone said.

For me, I have green eyes, love my dog, spend a lot of time with my mom, Love to sing along with Clay songs, I was teased a lot more so in the 6th grade like he was and didn't have a lot of friends, Hardly dated like he has mentioned, I'm a virgin too if it's ok to say that here. LOL
I'm also learning disabled and love what he's doing to make people like that so special.

Love this thread--I have a question that is a little off the subject.  Being from the north, I've often wondered, what is sweet tea?  I love tea and would love to try something that Clay likes.  Could someone enlighten me, and possibly tell me how to make it?

What an AWESOME topic!!!! 
1. my eyes aren't green they're hazel brown/green so it depends on the light..so my eyes CAN be green at times! 
2. I LOVE kids and love volunteering
3. I AM quite a nerd but i'm proud of it.
4. I get teased a lot, more when i was in elementary school but still now.
5. My parents are still together but i have two half sisters.
6. I have RED hair...though not naturally ...wait not true i did have redish hair when i was little but it slowly darkened but now its red again, well partly anyways.
7. I LOVE singing and are i take it i'm good at since i've been passed many auditions. 
8. I LOVE musical theatre, and have been in a couple productions, like Clay was in his highschool.
9.I'm a "ham" otherwise known as a goof ball. 
10. I don't have an off button so i tend to talk way too much.
11.I'm joining a Church choir this year and have always been in choir at school.
12. I've loved Krispey Kreme since they built one a block away from my house 
13. I've never been on a date...ever. Ha.
14.I love wearing stripes and tend to wear collard shirts, sweaters and skirts (yeah, i know Clay dosen't wear skirts) rather than t-shirts and shorts. I don't even own a pair of shorts...
15. My mom's my basically my best friend and i'm not afraid to hang out with her in public like certain people my age
16. I COLLECT socks. Honestly, i have socks for every season and tons of striped and toe socks. I don't know if Clay collects socks but i know he has lots of striped ones, as do i.

1.  i'm scared of cats.
2.  i'm a nerd.  my favorite thing to do is read.  i collect books.
3.  my sister worked at krispy kreme  (until they closed them all here)  so i guess i have a taste for them.

Let's see...I'm a Christian, who has a WWJD bracelet, is always afraid of getting stuck in an elevator, and is terrified of water, Clay said he was squeamish around bugs as a child, so was I, and still am! I try to help others as much as I can, love mac n' cheese, and Hot Pockets, love Christmas. I love dogs, (especially Raleigh!) love music and love to sing, (although I'm not very good at it!) I need glasses, (even got a pair like Clay's, the rim-less ones, and it made me feel better about having to wear them all the time, because Clay needs them too!) I have red hair! I'm extremely close with my mom, and I had an alcoholic father, very similar to Clay's actually, which having that in commom with him drew me toward Clay even more.
