Just got a call from Shirl - NO CLAY in the 7/21/08 editions of Life & Style or Star - that is all of the weekly magazines checked. Guess they didn't think Somolia was important enough to mention.

Another call from Shirl:

O.K. Magazine - 7/28/08 - NO CLAY, except for the Sagittarius Horoscope:

Quote
In an ideal world you'd be jetting off to some exotic destination, but even if you're staying close to home, life won't be dull. You're at the center of an exciting controversy and you'll gain from it. And the meeting of the minds leads to a powerful physical attraction.

Huggles Kelly - I think you are right - at least Clay fans have donated to this cause. I know Clay doesn't do this for publicity, but I think it is far more interesting than things that do make the magazines!

Hi Frankie, Huggles Clay's Somalia trip is definitely more interesting then most things in the magazines these days, and it's such a good cause, that alone should make it "newsworthy". It's really sad that people would find things like who's dating who in Hollywood more interesting then helping these people. And I know Clay doesn't do it for publicity, but it always bothers me when you see articles on other celebrities charity's and Clay's never included.
I do wish I could find Today's Caregiver around here. Clapping

Huggles Kelly - thank you! I think you will have to try one of the large bookstores - like Barnes and Noble, Waldens, or Books A Million for the Caregiver magazine. They may also sell issues online. (Think I have bought one from their web site before when Clay was on the cover). I will check and let you know! Shirl subsribes to this magazine - has for a long time.

It's frustrating when sleazy celebrities make the news on a regular basis, but a clean-cut guy who does amazing humanitarian things hardly gets a mention... unless some tabloid scum starts slinging the gossip!!

Can you tell I'm tired and cranky?? blush
