Windtalker...you can post the actual picture here...which is what I did below. Hope you don't
mind!  I think it's wonderful.  I've often assumed that eyes are the most difficult thing to convey
in a portrait.  You did an excellent job, in all ways.  How exciting was it to see one of your drawings
in Ms Faye's *shrine?*  Wow!  Congrats on that.  Thanks so much for sharing your art here,
you are very talented!

QUICK!! HOW WOULD you LIKE TO SING LIKE AN AMERICAN IDOL??? STAY TUNED TO QVC TO LEARN HOW...

THE MAKERS OF AMERICAN IDOL AND SIMON FULLER THAN FULL MOUTH COMES "SING LIKE AN IDOL: MUSIC AND DANCE FOR THE AMERICAN IDOL FAN". HERE ON QVC WE HAVE IN-STUDIO: RANDY JACKSON AND PAUL ABDUL AND THEY'RE GONNA LET US ALL KNOW HOW you CAN SING LIKE AN AMERICAN IDOL...

Randy: "Well, first things first. I am Randy Jackson and i comes from a show called 'American Idol'. Maybe you's heard of it?? Anywho, we want'cha to sing like any number of dawgs that pass through our home-town in California on their way to fame and fortune and all of that other dawgy kind of stuff, word up dawg...Paula is da bomb..."

Paula: "Not only that, Randy, the folks who call this special number will learn how to sing like Clay Aiken..."

Randy: "He didn't win American Idol. Why is HE on the CD and DVD???"

Paula: "I thought we had this discussion before?? Clay Aiken is America's Idol. It's just something you'll just have to come to terms with. You and Simon Cowell."

Randy: "Clever way of name dropping Simon's name! We's sure to get some extra money for doing that!! Now, about this project. The phone lines will open up in seconds and all of y'all at home have got to call that special number flashing on your screen."

Paula: "How's this?"

Randy: "I didn't mean YOU!! I mean the special number...the phone number!!! God!! Roll eyes"

Paula: "I take it you don't love me anymore? Well, i can take a hint! You are just like Clay Aiken. You make hearts melt around the globe and leave after you're through! Well, Clay Aiken doesn't need make-up!"

Randy: "While Paula sorts out her feelings for Clay Aiken and tries desperately to find her meaning in life, we'll play a clip of William Hung. He's on the bonus DVD that comes with this collection. His appearance appears on the DVD called: "How to Screw Up in Music without Really Trying". So, operators are standing by! We only got 9 minutes left! HURRY! HURRY DAWGS!! HURRY!!!"

Paula: "As a bonus for calling in the next 9 minutes, we will ship free to your door a lifetime supply of ice cubes. How's that?"

Randy: "Oh boy!! I wish i were in on the winnings. Man, i sure can use me some ice cubes right now!"

Paula: "Well, Randy! You DID use Ice Cube several years ago didn't you? You robbed him blind and left him for dead inside that maternity ward."

Randy: "Like i was saying a few minutes ago, Paula is a lunatic and she needs locked up. She spends every waking hour dreaming about Clay Aiken. Sometimes when she's in the dressing room she asks me to get over near her and asks me to blow my breath in her face. I think she thinks i eat Krispy Kreme! But, lord as my witness, i haven't touched a creamy center in 10 years! Oh lord, please don't believe Paula...no creamy centers for me!!! Please...lord..."

Paula: "Creamy centers?? Just what's going on here??"

Randy: "You know, Krispy Kremes! Ya, the creamy centers!"

Paula: "Whatever! You are one messed up sick-o! You oughta have your face smashed apart! How dare you say creamy center on QVC! Don't you know QVC stands for Quickly Viewed Crap? We're hawking this American Idol junk in hopes of bringing some un-needed money to FOX and the brother's Simon. Please, show a bit of respect for the ones who are watching! Please!!"

Randy: "Well, since you 'splained it like that, i guess i understand the whole kitten kaboodle. No more talk about creamy centers or how some of the dough nuts melt in yo' mouth. I understand perfectly!"

Paula: "Okay, time's up! All of you that got through congratulations! Your CD and DVD will be on it's way along with a cardboard box full of ice cubes. Make sure you re-freeze them when they get to your door. Good night and god bless..."

Randy: "Peace out, dawg lovers out there! I am your love child! Peace!"

[color=cornflowerblue]Wow!  Nicely done, Windtalker!  That's beautiful!  I agree with Pamela.  The eyes are very striking.  The expression on his face, too.  It evokes emotion.  I almost expected to hear the AI judges start talking.

Thanks to everyone who posted about my artwork.  It is very flattering and I really appreciate it.

I have always loved to draw ever since I was a kid.  Drawing Clay is a joy.  As I told someone, he has a face that is almost as beautiful as his heart.

I was so totally blown away when I saw my picture in the "Shrine."  It felt like such an honor.  I will never forget it.

Thanks again all of you.  I don't have many "new" drawings of Clay as I have been busy working.  But I would be happy to share some of the "older"  drawings with you.

Here is one from the Hurricane game........

windtalker: THOSE ARE UNREAL. WE HAVE ANOTHER ARTIST ON HERE NAMED JAN. SHE DOESN'T POST TOO MUCH BUT IF YOU MONITOR THE INDEX PAGE AND CAN SEE WHEN SHE'S ON THE SITE, SEND HER A PM. SHE'S MORE OF A PAINTER, I THINK...BUT SHE HAS THIS DRAWING OF CLAY THAT'S TYPICALLY POSTED ON THE OCD IN THE "MEMBER'S CORNER" SECTION. HER DRAWING OF CLAY SHOULD BE ON PAGE 1. IF YOU HADN'T SPOKEN TO HER, I THINK YOU SHOULD. THE TWO OF YOU SOUND LIKE YOU'D BECOME FRIENDS.

MARCH BIRTHDAYS

Posted: Sat Mar 05, 2005 12:10 am    Post subject: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDEE
------------------------------------------------------------------------
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDEE

Dear Judee, a Happy Birthday,
Connecticut fan of our Clay.
The Bookkeeper in the high school
For the school lunch program. (That's cool!)

Clay has the greenest eyes you've seen,
And with glasses, they seem more green!
You like some stubble on that face,
(And "grubby" Clay makes your heart race!)

Now "Touch," "Solitaire," and "The Way"
Are favorite songs of yours by Clay.
And when he sang "Grease" on AI,
It was just magical that night.

When Clay sang "Solitaire" last year
On AI, he brought you to tears.
So handsome in a suave black suit
With black turtleneck. (Wow, he's cute!)

Now Providence, the AI Tour,
And Worcester, the Indy Tour.
Three times, Clay's Solo Tour for you,
And the JNT, three times, too!

You never will forget the day,
Waiting 12 hours to see Clay,
At the "Big E," you made Clay friends.
Your "life" on this site soon began!

Cody and Bailey are your "boys,"
Your shelties that bring you great joy!
You're "52" today, have fun,
With family and your doggie "sons."

Have a joyous day, Judy.
Love,
Prissy

Here are Judy's adorable shelties:

It was so wonderful for all of you to "honor" me in that way. I really appreciate all the time you put into the wonderful poem. I hope to someday meet you and many other maniacs face to face. Too bad we all live so far away from each other. It would be such fun to get our four Shelties all together. They are very special and I just love watching them. Thanks for posting their picture, too. With my daughters grown up, they really give me a lot of company. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. You are absolutely the best!!!!!!

Judee

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAY4ME03

Clay4me03, Happy Birthday,
A Missouri fan of our Clay.
You have four daughters and one son.
(They keep you busy, but it's fun!)

Clean face or stubble, sideburns, too,
And Clay's freckles are loved by you.
A shirt with matching tie looks sweet.
(You'd like to pinch those cute Clay cheeks!)

You raised funds for the BAF
With Krispy Kreme cards and "Clay wrap."
State Coordinator, that's true;
Missouri for BAF, cool!

"God gave the world such a sweet man,
With morals, values," (says this fan.)
In St. Louis, IT with Clay
And Kelly, too! (It made your day!)

You've had to leave us for a while.
We miss your posts; you made us smile!
Enjoy your "38th" Birthday,
With family, friends, (hey, why not Clay!!)

Have a great day, Jacki. I hope life is smoother for you,
and you can join us here again, soon.

Hugs,
Prissy

------------------------------------------------------------------------
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAYBUF

Dear ClayBuf, a Happy Birthday,
An Omaha fan of our Clay.
Your mom with Alzheimer's needs you,
And full time care, you give her, too.

You love Clay's smile and twinkling eyes,
And in a tux or suit, looks nice!
A sweater with a striped polo.
Wow! Hoodie under a suit coat!

MOAM is fine, you say,
But Clay's Christmas CD is great!
Some songs you like more than the rest.
Here are the ones that you like best:

"Invisible," "I Survived You,"
And "When You Say You Love Me," too.
"Don't Save It All For Christmas Day,"
"O Holy Night," "MDYK."

Omaha, Independent Tour,
Sioux Falls and Des Moines, Solo Tour;
Chicago for the JNT.
Never enough! More concerts, please!

Everything about Clay is "choice."
His snarky humor and that VOICE!
His love for causes and that VOICE!
(Did I mention you love that VOICE!)

Early mornings, you're on this site.
You know us from the posts we write.
Enjoy your "53rd" Birthday,
Spend more time here with us (and Clay!)

Have a wonderful birthday, Buffi.
Hugs,
Prissy

Hi Prissy!
Thank you for the Birthday poem! Good job!!

This is a nice thing you do for us, and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate it, as I'm sure everyone does. Like I said, there's a lot of great people on this site - that's why it is like no other. And, you know sometimes it really IS the little things that count, like a person dropping in on a thread to wish someone else a happy day.

Thanks again, it helped make a rough day a little easier!

Take Care,
~Buffi

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOCAQUEEN

There's someone special on this site,
Who shows her love in all she writes.
She's "Mama" on the OCD
And "prayers" are her specialty!

So many here have felt her care
And know the friendship that she shares.
In her big heart, each has a place,
And for one more, there's always space.

Dear Bocaqueen, Happy Birthday,
A Florida fan of our Clay!
"Chief cook" and "household engineer,"
(Piano, you play, too, I hear!)

Jewelry Company Manager
And Aftercare with Preschoolers;
These are some jobs once held by you,
Pan Am and advertising, too!

You love Clay's wink and that lipbite,
And, ooh, those beautiful green eyes!
Clay just melts you with that sweet smile.
(Let's stare at his long legs a while!)

A jacket or a tux on Clay;
That "GQ" look is great, you say.
Clay's long, lean legs in jeans that fit,
(With you, that look makes quite a hit!)

"Don't Save It All For Christmas Day,"
"Unchained Melody," and "The Way,"
"Mary Did You Know," "Mack the Knife,"
"Solitaire," too; (all songs you like!)

Miami, Independent Tour,
And Melbourne, the Joyful Noise Tour;
Two Clay concerts so far, for you.
(Florida Clay fans, you met, too!)

Clay's faith, morals, philanthropy,
Draw you to him; it's clear that he's
Much more than good looks, a great voice.
(Clay's love for God makes him your choice!)

"Clay's Scarlet," you're "50" today,
And in Charlotte with fans of Clay!
"Boca Cabana," we'll have fun
And act like we're all "21"!!!

Have a most special and happy day, Susan.
Love,
Prissy

A extra special thank you to Prissy and Ac for your outstanding Poem and Song.

Prissy...you are so special.

Thank You.

Love,
Susan

One regret you may have, other than not being with us at the Social,.....would have to be, not being able to hear our dear Prissy actually reading her poem to you. As wonderful as all her beautiful poetry is.......it is a thousand times more fabulous, hearing her speak those words to you in her sugary-sweet Texas accent.(and she THINKS WE are all the ones who have accents...LOL)

SCOTT AND GRACE[/u]
In the on-going saga that tries to explain the reason behind a long marriage, Scott and Grace are back on the air...
======================
Scott and Grace...brought to you today by Instant Cement in a Can. you mothers or fathers out there who love to cook, try Instant Cement in a Can. Pretty soon, after eating Instant Cement, you'll ask yourselves why the heck didn't you try cement years ago. Instant Cement in a Can: The Food that Really Hits the Spot!
=========================

Scott: "It's like pulling teeth trying to get you to stay in the house. I see that you're planning on going to a concert, is that right?"

Grace: "Yes, that's right. Even though we live a million miles away i'm gonna go."

Scott: "Oh you are? Just HOW are you gonna go? By car? By bus? By plane? By train? On foot??"

Grace: "Drop dead!!"

Scott: "Those are pretty harsh words you're giving me so early in the morning. What ever did i do to deserve such a high honor?"

Grace: "Just go to hell"

Scott: "Let me get this straight. First you want me to drop dead...now you want me to go to hell? Hmmm, i'm in hell right now and i know if i were in bed with you i'd certainly feel like i was dead..."

Grace: "Very funny! You MUST tell me who writes your lines!! Roll eyes"

Scott: "Ok, Grace! Go ahead! Go off to wherever you want to go!"

Grace: "I was anyway!"
======================
INSTANT CEMENT IN A CAN SURE TASTES GOOD ON TOAST. PICK UP A CAN TODAY...MAKE SURE YOU CAN LIFT OVER 70 POUNDS, THOUGH!
=======================
Grace: "Oh yeah, Rose, Scott never gave me any lip about the concert. He simply told me to have a good time and that he hopes i don't drop dead with excitement or the seats be a living hell."

Rose: "That's great, Grace! I have always wanted to see Boy George in concert every since i had his poster up in my wall! I was quite the karma chameleon in those days."

Grace: "I can't wait!!! I just HAVE to know who does his dresses. They are to die for!"

Rose: "I have no idea but i'll bet they cost a pretty penny. I think he has them flown over here from Somalia or Indonesia".

Grace: "I would LOVE to sleep with him for just one night! Oh boy, Boy George and me...ahhh, now THAT is heaven!!!"

Rose: "It would be Sweet Heaven..."

SWEET HEAVEN[/u]

Sweet Heaven I'm in Love Again
Sweet Heaven I'm in Love Again
You came along...now what can i do?
I only wanna be with YOU

Sweet Heaven here i go again
Un-hooked from head to toe again
One minute i'm so lonely and then
Oh Sweet Heaven...
Say babe, now that i found you
Life's a song
Say babe, where were you hiding
I've been waiting so long

Sweet Heaven I'm in Love Again
Sweet Heaven I'm in Love Again
You came along...now what can i do?
I only wanna be with YOU

Oh heaven...hey...babe
Now that i found you life's a song
Say, babe, where were you hiding
I've been waiting so long...

Rose: "Oh yeah!! I love Boy George...i also love that Manilow song we just sung."

Grace: "But we must NOT tell Scott who we're off to see. If he gets word that it's Boy George, oh boy will be in trouble, by George!"

Rose: "Okay, my lips are sealed...well, they'll be open for Boy George! What a hunk!! I hope he shows us some leg!!"

Grace: "Now stop it! You're about to make me melt all over this phone!! My breath feels hot and my hands are sweaty..."

Rose: "I think you have Boy George fever running through you!"

Grace: "Oh how i would LOVE to have Boy George running through me!! Ahhhhh!!!"
=======================
Scott: "It's like this, Joe. Grace wants to run off to a concert a million miles away to see god knows who! She hasn't told me who she's going to see and it's driving me crazy."

Joe: "Well, my wife is going to see Boy George, by George she is! Oh boy, when i heard that i nearly hit the roof!"

Scott: "Did ya forget to duck your head again before walking into the living room??"

Joe: "Oh boy! Did i ever! My head hit the living room roof and all my wife could do was swoon to Boy George...i nearly had an upset stomach."

Scott: "Well, if Grace ever told ME she was gonna go see Boy George! Oh boy, there'd be hell to pay, by George!!"

Joe: "Well, i think Grace is a little bit too mature for Boy George..."

Scott: "I don't know! Have you seen the audience demographic for the OC? 48% OVER 35!! Now what does THAT tell you???"

Joe: "It means a lot of girls and women have the hots for the blonde guy..."

Scott: "No, you dummy, it means our wives are fighting the natural aging process..."

Joe: "I think it's cute, now...but back then i wanted to rip up anything on Boy George i could find!! Oh boy that George could get me angrier than anything!!!"

Scott: "Well, Grace is NOT going to see Boy George!! If THAT is who she wants to go a million miles to see...i have a room for her in an asylum."
========================
WILL GRACE AND ROSE SEE BOY GEORGE, SING? WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN SCOTT LEARNS THAT GRACE IS PLANNING ON SEEING BOY GEORGE, HER FORMER CRUSH? AND JUST what WILL HAPPEN IF ANYBODY EATS INSTANT CEMENT IN A CAN? STAY TUNED NEXT TIME TO FIND OUT...

------------------------------------------------------------------------
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAYHARMONY

Clayharmony, Happy Birthday,
A California fan of Clay!
A fifth grade teacher at your school,
(Do fifth graders think Clay is cool?)

You love art, books, politics, CLAY!
Cello, guitar, and golf you play.
Pianist with passion and heart,
Of this board, you love being part!

Clay's lanky physique, twinkling eyes,
His smile, the sound of his laugh, nice.
You love Clay's look for JNT
And "Solitaire" look, AI3.

And "Look What Love Has Done," by Clay,
You like these and "Solitaire,' too.

Also, Clay on the "Tonight Show,"

Your birthday's the same day as Faye's.
Clay's mom and you are close in age.
How neat if you and Faye today
Could both share your birthdays with Clay!!

Have a joyous day, Johanna,
Love,
Prissy

Johanna has written a beautiful Ode to Clay that I want to share with you:

ODE TO CLAY: HOW DO I LOVE YOU, LET ME COUNT THE WAYS…
(with thanks to Elizabeth Barrett Browning)

1. I love your broad, square shoulders; the twinkle in your eyes; the lift of your eyebrow when you are expressing mock horror; your long legs-especially when you cross one leg over the other, one ankle resting on the other knee.

2. I love your wit; the sound of your voice when you utter expressions “not funny”…”it’s just not good.”

3. I love the sound of your laugh like the time you laughed when Rubin said, “sing it, Clay!”

4. I love your passion…when you commit to something; you give it all you have!

5. I love your discrimination…little things/big things…it reveals your individuality and humanity. .

6. I love your humility…thinking your nothing special is indeed special in this day and age.

7. I love your values, what you hold most important…your compassion for those who struggle.

8. I love your capacity for joy which pours from your being while you sing, while you share, while you laugh.

9. I love the love you so freely share at every turn.

10. I love you for the you, you have revealed to me irrespective of your talent, your celebrity.

Thank you so much for remembering me on my birthday. I so appreciate your thoughtfulness, Prissy. I am making a copy of my birthday poem and thread to place with my keepsakes. How generous it is of you to take the time to write birthday poems for us here at Claymaniacs.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAYSJOY

Dear claysjoy, a Happy Birthday,
A Central Texas fan of Clay!
Your two small boys love Clay as well.
(And "Stamping Up" items, you sell!)

You love Clay's legs and that lipbite,
His nose wrinkles and sparkling eyes!
Those "Grease" jeans or Clay in a suit,
(And in his glasses, he's so cute!)

Now, happy, bouncy, chatty Clay,
And Clay with kids, all great, you say.
Serious Clay is also HOT!
(But goofy, nerdy Clay's still TOPS!)

Now, you like "On the Wings of Love,"
And, also, I read, "Buttercup."
Another favorite, "Fantasy,"
(Your son knows this by memory!)

Grand Prairie, twice, IT, ST;
Also, three more times, the ST:
Charleston, Houston, Charlotte, too.
Indy--August! (More Clay for you!)

You never saw Clay on AI,
Grand Prairie, IT, your first time!
You fell under his spell that day.
(Now you can't get enough of Clay!)

Enjoy today, you're "32,"
With your sweet family, (and Clay, too!)
(Let's make a wish on your birthday:
A Texas concert with our Clay!)

Have a wonderful day, Kris.
Love,
Prissy

Now everyone chant:
"TEXAS...CLAY...TEXAS...CLAY...TEXAS...CLAY...TEXAS...CLAY..."

This is fun! Thank you guys so very much! I appreciate all the well wishes and kind words! You are the best family ever!
I wish I were posting more as well. I need to, just man, things are nutso crazy (and not just my kids!)
I will try to do better! I have a couple of things I would like to share.....
first, you guys are so great, caring, and patient! I have enjoyed getting to know all of you. Prissy, thanks for the poem, so perfect, you really pay attention!

Almost forgot!

TEXAS....CLAY! TEXAS............CLAY! TEXAS.........CLAY! and on and on and on!

K_b_karbear, Happy Birthday,
From Denver, a Clay fan.
You like to paint and also draw.
(Why don't you draw our "man"?)

Now Clay is a good role model,
Committed, strong in faith.
You love everything that he wears
(And all his songs are great!)

No concerts yet for you, my dear,
But maybe one day soon!
You are the same age as Clay's mom,
(Hey, that is my age, too!)

Have a wonderful "Friday the 13th Birthday,"

Hugs,
Prissy

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAVIGNA

Bavigna, a Happy Birthday,
A Michigan fan of our Clay!
Stay at home mom, (pianist, too,)
A boy, 4, girl, 1, (one cat, woo!)

You like Clay's hair spiked with sideburns,
And glasses! (Hey, that tummy fur!)
Untucked dress shirt with a loose tie
And striped pants! (This look's always fine!)

Now, "Go the Distance," "In Not Of,"
"More to Life," these Demos you love.
Clay's not a fake, (may someday teach),
True to himself, his goals he'll reach!

Detroit, twice, Clay concerts for you;
AI2 and IT, that's cool!
Besides Clay, you love Richard Marx.
His 8 CD's just touch your heart.

From Canada, a fan of Clay!
A lab tech who had surgery,
(Not working now, but soon, I see.)

Enjoy this time off watching Clay
And movies, too, are fun, you say.
You love Clay's soft, perfect pink lips.
That shirt, tie, fedora! (So hip!)

"I Survived You" and "Perfect Day"
Are favorite songs of yours by Clay.
He's so articulate and sweet.
(That Clay's so fine, he can't be beat!)

Spokane, the Independent Tour,
And Solo Tour at Musickfest.

Clay's friend, assistant, and side-kick!
Have fun today, you're "38."
(Maybe your "Nick" has a friend, "Clay"?)

Have a wonderful day, Barb.
Love,
Prissy

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today we celebrate the life or our dear friend, Julie, as we
remember her on what would have been her 58th Birthday.
Many of you have written poems or special words about Julie
that I know you want to share.

IN HONOR OF JULIE ON HER BIRTHDAY

Clay'sJulie, this is your birthday,
In heaven, you're a fan of Clay!
You left too soon; we miss you so.
(It still is hard to let you go!)

Clay'sJulie, your light still shines bright
To all of us on this Clay site.
We miss your "big, giant yellow" posts,
(That sense of humor, we miss most!)

Clay'sJulie, we all want to say,
We celebrate your life today.
Of us, you'll always be a part,
(We'll hold you close and in our hearts.)

Dear Julie, Have a heavenly birthday,
With much love,
Prissy

Posted: Tue May 31, 2005 12:42 am    Post subject: FOR JJ ON HER BIRTHDAY
------------------------------------------------------------------------
In one of our early phone conversations, jj told me of some of her Clay
preferences and the concerts she had attended. I have decided because
of the circumstances to write her birthday poem in two parts.

FOR JJ ON HER BIRTHDAY

Dear jj, today's your birthday,
Sweet Georgia fan of Clay.
You love Clay's "Howdy Doody" look;
His freckles make your day!

Now, Clay in jeans or a dark suit,
In either, he's so cute.
You love the Christian songs he sings,
"The Way's" a favorite, too.

Flower arranging, home projects,
You're really good at these,
A fantastic Mom and Grandma,
Good listener, I see.

Atlanta, the AI2 Tour,
The IT, in Duluth,
The ST: Virginia, Portsmouth,
JNT, Atlanta, too.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Dear Joyce, we "met" you on this site,
Where talk is mostly "Clay."
But so much more, we all have shared,
Our cares and thoughts each day.

When cancer struck, you let us know,
And we stood strong by you!
We prayed, sent cards, and even called,
Much love we gave you, too.

Now doctors say the time is near,
This life you'll soon depart.
JJ, it's hard to let you go,
It's breaking all our hearts!

A miracle will happen soon,
You'll see God and rejoice!
And loved ones there await to say,
"Welcome home, our dear Joyce."

Much love,
Prissy

------------------------------------------------------------------------

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEPE

Dear Pepe, a Happy Birthday,
Clay fan from Tennessee.
You love dogs, cats, and also birds,
To garden and to read.

Oh, Clay's hands are so expressive,
Especially on a mike.
And he looks great in a black suit
And turtleneck that's white!

Now, "I Know How the River Feels"
And "Solitaire" are great.
"Don't let the Sun Go Down on Me,"
"Don't Save It All....," first rate!

You always show care and concern
For each one of us here.
We feel the love you share with us,
The laughter and the tears.

Clay's "Peppy Chef," you're a great cook,
So my wish for today:
That you whip up a special meal
For all of us (and Clay!!)

Have a stupendous birthday, Shirley.
Much love,
Prissy

Oh my! I came to post on JJ's thread and I saw my happy birthday thread, and you guys have me crying already and it's only 8:00a..m. I am a real softie and you all have touched my heart so deeply. Thank you Prissy for my poem, you are so dear to do this for all of us.

JJ and I was going to celebrate together over the phone today. We had planned to start when we were born and go thru our lives, we laughed as we said it would take hours and maybe days. I told JJ that's alright my beautiful Moonshot sent me a telephone card and we would think of her as we were talking.

Thank you again for thinking of me on my birthday.

Hugs, Pepe

Prissy, thank you so much for the wonderful birthday poem and for starting my birthday thread. I think the world of you!

Hugs and love, Shirley/Pepe
