Good morning. Philly, I'm sorry for your and your family's loss. You are in my thoughts. Well we didn't get home from the concert until 1:00 am and I didn't go to bed until after 2:00 so I am tired today. Am drinking Coke to help wake myself up at work.  The concert was great. It was Darrius Rucker (from Hootie and the Blowfish; he's now country), Dierks Bentley and Braid Paisley. It's the first time I've seen Brad and he put on a great show. It was packed and well done. His visuals are awesome; one of the best screens I have seen. Dierks was great as usual but his part of the show was short since he was not the headliner. He only sang 2 of the new songs from the CD that comes out in a little over a week. As far as the meet and greet, I think the one I did before was better because there were less people and it seemed more intimate, but this was great too. We were taken backstage and lined up. He came in the room and we went up to meet him and have our picture taken. Even though I had met him before, I was still nervous and my heart was pounding before I walked up to him. I shook his hand and he asked my name. Then he put his arm around me for the picture. We posed and they told us to move over to the right so we did (just more a little more time with his arm around me  ). Then he signed my CD cover (the greatest hits CD). I walked back to another line in the room and waited until everyone was done. We gathered around him and talked for a few minutes. Then it was time to go. No hug this time but he is a nice guy who loves his fans and wants to make sure that they have a good time. Which I did.  |

Sounds like a nice time Krista. That's a pretty great lineup for a concert. Wish somebody else we know could pull that off.
