Thank you all so much for your prayers for Roger(and for me)

Roger is presently in SICU where he will spend the night, then tomorrow if all goes well tonight he will get to come home .

God really answered prayers and the Drs were able to do the surgery without having to do the incisions to the sides of his neck to pull the soft tissue bones forward. 

His biggest complaint is swallowing,and he has been told it will probably be like that for maybe 3 weeks.  Roger has always had a high tolerance for pain (unlike me) so he will not complain very much. I will be off tomorrow & the weekend so I'll be able to give him some TLC

Again thanks for the prayers, it definetly gives you peace of mind as you are waiting ,to know that you have wonderful friends who are holding you up in prayer.

I have loved the pictures today, my goodness, what a way to end a loooong day.   wow

Marlene,

I'm so glad to  hear that everything went well with Rogers surgery.  I'm sure you're relieved.  I hope he has a speedy recovery.   Huggles

Well, I just found everyone's "desert" in an old PB and this has NO calories to worry about!  (Though industrial fans may be needed.   )
