I just posted at the CM, I too had a most interesting evening.   My boss took my husband I  to dinner at the Country Club for my birthdsy...We had quite a long discussion about the BAF Gala, He said he would have been happy to sponsor a table for me, but not one with only 5 people at a table, he thought that was outrageous...He is a Dr and does lots of charity events and is a big supporter of the JDRF( for diabetes),and each year for their Gala, he sponsors a table for $5000.00 but there are 10 at the table....so looks like I'm back to square one..trying to get a $250.00 ticket in the Monday mad rush for tickets...   

I know, I bet the site will crash in a minute and no tickets will be had and the tickets brokers will get their grubby hands on them!

Well girls its to bed for me, I'll talk with you all tomorrow.  I have just one question before I go...After reading the information again on the BAF board...if a Silver sponsor pays $5000.00 for half a table and is secured seats for 5 ,who  pays for the other half....who sponsors the other half, & if thay pay the same amount  Does that then not make it a Gold table...I'm confused.

mimi ~ I'm just guessing here but I think they are giving groups a chance to buy/spend less by splitting the Gold tables in half and allowing 2 groups to share a table, thus 2 groups of 5 will share a table for 10 and split the cost.  Don't know if I explained that very well.  And if an uneven number of Silver sponsorships are sold the 5 extra seats at that table are probably sold as individual seats.
