Good evening..I posted this on the ANN as well but I just borrowed it from the CB since someone posted it there. Clay's songs from ATDW was being used in a Korean tv show..

From TV show(Sat,Sun night) 'I'm happy'-I don't watch the show but it seems like guys are having their time at the bar and one of them who broke up with his girlfriend laments in this scene and Without You was used as background music.

From TV sitcom 'Unstoppable marriage'-Again, I don't watch this show either but it seems like they talk about their love triangle or something in the cafe and Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word was played as background music.

Who's this Hannah chick?

She played the Lady of the Lake. Her and Clay were the ones who won the nominations for male and female replacements for Spamalot recently on broadway.com, audience choices.

Someone posted the performance of this when they sang 'The Prayer' together for the Easter Bonnet benefit @ Broadway on clackunlimited. Its not clear but you can hear how beautiful the duet was.

I was pretty sure that's who she was, but I wasn't 100%.  Thanks for the explanation.

This is probably old news by now but I was bored and thought I'd go to Goodsearch and just typed Spamalot and then I found this Q & A that they did with Clay. Sorry if this was already posted by someone but I thought it was a good interview.

wave Hello everyone. Hope you're Sunday is well. Just got back from the outside with hubby.

We were sort of relandscaping part of our front yard. We have this cement steps and next to it the previous owners ended making it into  some kind of flower bed but we've decided to clean it all up and just put some nice red rocks along the whole way down.

Phew! Lots of work pulling weeds and removing old bark cover and finally putting a new weed control cover. Now I just have to shop for those red rocks.

Okay off to the showers I go and will lurk back later

Bringing some news..

Quote
WASHINGTON -- Broadway came to the nation's capital Sunday night during a gala for the Ford's Theatre attended by President Bush and first lady Laura Bush.

Actor Hal Holbrook, country music singer Trisha Yearwood, former American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken and other stars performed songs and spoken word pieces from the musical "The Civil War" at the National Theatre, which hosted the event because the beneficiary theater is under renovation.

"Laura and I have been coming here now for eight years to the Ford Theatre gala and this is by far the best," Bush said after the performances. "It's such an uplifting performance and a reminder of what a great president Abraham Lincoln was."

The musical, which premiered in Houston in 1998 before opening on Broadway, follows the course of the war from multiple perspectives.

The spoken word selections invoked Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth and Lincoln among others. Holbrook read several selections.

Yearwood performed two numbers: "If I Should Lose My Way" and "The Honor of Your Name." Aiken sang "Sarah."

Other performers included actor Avery Brooks, musician Larry Gatlin and author Maya Angelou.

Angelou was one of the evenings two recipients of Lincoln Medals.

Actress Ruby Dee also was honored with a medal. Her daughter accepted it on her behalf.

"The Lincoln Medal brings Abraham Lincoln's legacy to life by recognizing his wisdom and vision in the work of today's leaders," the first lady said when introducing the recipients. "It honors those who through their accomplishments or personal attributes illuminate the character of our most beloved president."
