Poor,poor boy..he sure is young to have to put up with this so early in his career, but I was afraid this would happen.  Whats wrong with our society these days...Everything seems to be so hurtful .

  What is wrong with these people?! I just don't get it. Regardless of whether or not he is or not that is nobody's business until he decides to say so otherwise..it really is sad that he has to deal with this so early in his age....is that the question of the day all the time? The first thing that the media needs to know is your sexuality?

For the record..Clay did answer the question with Diane Sawyer and with Rolling Stone and right after he won that's hes not gay but for some damn reason that's not enough, they can't come up with a more intelligent question to ask him everytime so they have to keep digging and digging until they get what they want. So I don't blame him for being straighforward and throwing that question back into their faces everytime someone has to ask.

Its like you don't fit in the media's picture of what a pop statr/celebrity is supposed to be unless you're sleeping around with every woman in Hollywood, drinking and romping around naked. It must be so hard for them to swallow to be around someone who has been raised with morals and to reamain humble and not be an egotistical idiot.

Part of the reason why I like Clay is that despite having had to create a tougher skin these last five years to withstand the whiplash from the media, he has remained true to who he is even after AI. He's not perfect he has said it himself but in comparison to his so-called "peers" I'd say he's a good role model for the kids today.

Clay is awesome....still defining himself, not succomming to pressure.  He's outlasted Clive Davis and other detractors.  And I would say he seems happier now than he has been in a long while.

He's got my respect.  He's shown more courage than I probably would have if I had been in his shoes.

I'm home today because my kids wanted me to have a barbecue at home and invite them.  They're all here now.  We just finished having dinner and they're all watching tv.  Norm and I were planning on taking a day trip to the shore but the kids thought otherwise so I'm home grilling instead of sitting on the beach relaxing.  Although I do love having them here all together. 

I'm so missing Clay    so it's good having a house full of people to keep me distracted.

Irene ~ Grilling is good! and having the family together is fun. It would probably be too cold on the beach anyway.  My college son decided he would rather be with his friends today.     But good news is Clandy is on her way to my house right now.     We're gonna have a girlie sleep-over.

So maybe this will comfort you.  It's a new montage that I think is really good.
