Sorry I disappeared & am coming back so late, but I had to hunker down, pack our bags and get ready for this weekend.  Hubby and I are headed to the Bershire Mountains tom. for a 2 day getaway (very spur of the moment) and I can't wait!!    Woodstock, NY (an artists community) is one of my very favorite places to visit.  The scenery/mountains are absolutely gorgeous, the people who live there are the NICEST you'd ever wanna meet and I love going to all the craft shops and art galleries.  ETA: I plan to bring my camera along and share pics with you all on Monday!

Hope everyone has a wonderful, fun-filled Memorial weekend with family & friends!  Huggles

Well, looks like I'll be picking up more branches. As far as I can tell the only thing that was damaged were our trees. They're pretty much shot anyway. They've been struck by lightning, ripped to shreds from the wind and missing branches due to the ice storm and the other storms.

I am off to Oregon for a week, leaving tomorrow back next Saturday.  Hope to check in from time to time so I don't get too far behind.....altho I think we are headed into a drought......

Eight more days before hubby and I find out whether the stork has landed or if I make a big announcement to the family that "P" = POSITIVE. Paranoid

Although he thinks I already am since I've been so friggin' tired lately..then again it might be allergies scratch Oh heck I almost about fell off my chair when I heard my MIL tell the hubby over the speaker phone yesterday that we should quote "Quit having fun and start with working on her grandchild"  lmao I think that if she had said it in person her face might've been beet red.. blush
