I absolutely hated that clayClay segment. These Kimmel appearances are getting really bad and I wish he wouldn't do them any more.
If he had done Ferguson he probably would have won him over as a friend and thus cut down on the crap in the monologues. Instead, we got insulted again and the general public got a really bad impression.
And the fans are left with mixed emotions. That's what we have to remember over the summer.
I know I'm finding it hard to forget.

Good morning!
Nice banner, Meesa.
Fran, maybe I'm better off not watching Kimmel.

Krista
, I would definately watch it. First of all so you know what we are talking about. Second of all, the interview is good.
There was a great recap written by berkely that clayharmony put in the CM
HERE
. Read that too. And Sunny wrote a blog on the OFC
HERE
that is very good.
So here's a hint of the bad stuff
And here's a hint of the good stuff from the interview

~ you definately need to watch Kimmel. I was the exact opposite of you. I watched it and wasn't online for over a day. I loved the show and I thought he never looked better (LOVED the sweater and the hair...gah!). Maybe that influenced my opinion some...who knows. Sure when I saw the Clay bust segment....it was a big
eye-roller for me but I guess I'm just accustomed to the Claymate schtick from all his other appearances. It wasn't until I talked with Fran did I know this was a big topic of discussion and how several 'hated' the show. I guess I'm glad that I haven't been able to read alot. Don't let everyone elses opinions influence the way you think though before you watch it....I know thats probably easier said than done though. JMO!

Clandy
Long time, no see.
Thank you for that. Other than my brother's comment, which he would make anyway
, I wasn't worried about Clay's appearance on Kimmel. Despite Jimmy's fascination with the fans, I think that Clay does well on that show, that he seems comfortable and the interviews are good. I have seen a couple of pictures and he looks good. Kris watched it and said that overall it wasn't that bad and that he looked and sounded great. I was so tired Friday night that I passed out before 10:00 pm and this weekend was busy so I haven't had time to watch.
But when I got online last night, all I found was worrying and angsting. Over the skit, over whether he will record again, over already missing him. I guess that just was overwhelming to find after such a great few weeks and months. Think about from last fall to now. The Christmas tour, the BAF golf tournament, Spamalot, a new CD and appearances in support of it. Yes we will miss a summer tour and the sales figures are low, but it has been a great year so far. Maybe I need your happy bubble.
