*Site update - please read*

As you can see we did some rearranging of some things on the board but all the same information is here, just a little relocated.  The major adjustment will be your PM box which is now located on the lefthand side of the screen.  To access your PM box, click on the line under your screenname that says 'PM: 123'.

I can't go "back"...on my screen- no back button/arrow?, and the margins, even after adjusting the arrows at the top..are just messed up.

Is this going to work?

Also, I always use the "show unread" topics, and when you lose the margins, you can't see that either..

The 'back' button is a button on your browser and shouldn't have anything to do with our site.  Do you have to scroll back and forth to read?  When you are in the forum, the leftside infobar will stay open all the time so that you can view your pmbox.  You do have the option of turning that off by clicking the small arrow by the 'HOME' key above.  If you prefer to turn that off, you can also change your settings in your profile to give you a popup notification of new pm's.  That way you could keep the leftside turned off and not miss any pm's that may come in.   When you do close the leftside off, all that info will be hidden such as the 'show unread' link.  If you prefer you can bookmark this link, which will take you directly to the unread topics:

Very inconvenient to have to go  up to Home and click on the arrow to see my name so I can click on my pm box than click on the arrow again to widen the margins again.  Why did we change.  I don't usually complain but I was used to looking up at the top of the screen and seeing what pms I had.

Gwenn ~ it is over on the leftside of the screen under your avie picture.  It says....PM:11 <---(number of your pm's).  On the line under that it will show NEW:1 if you have a new message.

ANGELA - It's working for me . . now that I read the instructions about my PM's. 
I haven't been on long, but I've done most of my normal things.  It looks good!

I'm going to post and see if I run into trouble.

Pepe ~ you shouldn't have to open and shut it all the time.  You can just keep it open.  Are you closing it because your screen scrolls when in a thread?  I may be able to make a small adjustment if that is the case.

Angela- I am doing OK now..hubby had creeped out our tool bar so that is why I couldn't go "back"..and the skinny screen I will have to get used to..I am not "patient" enough to keep flipping arrows to enlarge the screen everytime I want to see the message center to "show unread posts" etc.

I am all for "ease of things": not adding extra steps to get what was..

WOW!  It looks fantastic; I knew you could do it!  The wider banner truly graphically enhances the site - it looks so professional.

Lindsay, you did a beautiful job on the banner - it's amazing. 

I can't wait to see what our other banner babes come up with as well.  Folks, we know change is difficult for some, but the true measure of a fan site is....the fans who use it!  And you all are the BEST.   Please continue to post your questions here and we will do our best to resolve them for you.  Trust me -- we want everyone to be able to use our site to it's fullest.

Pepe ~ is it like this on every screen or just certain threads or pages?  The banner size wouldn't have anything to do with the scrolling up and down.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.    I know it will take a little adjustment but we've been through bigger changes than this and got through it all.  We can still do some tweaking if necessary so please do post any questions/issues you may be having so we can try to work through them.
