He likes tv A LOT. Back when he was growing up there were so many tv theme songs. 3 hour tour...songs get stuck in his head. Talking about auditioning for AI and he got cut...and someone else beat him. (must have looked at Quiana) Everyone was singing and he wanted them to shut up so he could sleep. He keeps talking to some "young man" and giving him advice about how parents are smart, etc.

Singing snippets of songs he meant to sing to audition...but didn't. Talking to Quiana about what she sang. His brain farted and he sang Perfect Strangers.

He watches a lot of tv. Ask his mom...if she's still there. He used to get grounded from tv when he was young. When Mom and Dad were driving home from work they could tell could tell if he'd been watching tv so he learned to pull out the door on the side of the tv so they couldn't see. They got smart--got out of the car down the street and walked home to catch them
They went to a lot of trouble to "catch him."

They stopped him and told him "That was stupid", so he sang "Always and Forever". "I LOVE TV"--if I had my way there'd be a screen right here and I'd be watching it. Says people that have seen it are saying, "This part is so stupid. I wish he'd cut this part out of the show." These songs are part of our American History. Now singing the songs.

You know I wish Clay had added the themes to the brady brunch, and the partridge family to the set. Why didn't I mention that at the M& G?

Lots of laughter--I know not why. Now the theme from All in the Family.

Let go, and let God. I was moving on up right then. Didn't you get the spirit? Even with these tables in front of ya'. You people are drinkin' ain't cha'? Tables make you sit down all the time--puts me to sleep. Talking about people on the sides that have the spirit--asking if they paid for those seats. Told them to be careful because they'd fall in the water.

Asking how many shows people had been to. Said bring the same 3000 people to every show. Telling someone that his 3000 aren't available--get your own 3000.

The weather report for NC just took a turn for the better.  The tropical depression that appeared to be forming has fallen apart.  As bad as we need rain in NC, I sure hope the tropics stay quiet until after next weekend.

Still going to be hot but heat won't stop a show but a hurricane sure would.

hanapepe at CB:

I got a phone call from the venue right before it started, and one of my friend's daughter had her camera taken away. Clack police are EVERYWHERE, and clack is going to be tough to come by. They were even taking away cellphones, and my friend had to hide it as she talked to me..
