I just got back from Adam's track and field day. It consists of 4th and 5th graders from all three Elementary schools in our district (it is still going on but I have tons of stuff to do today and I couldn't stay! )

He was in the softball throw............he did ok. He is running this afternoon.

Anyways there was one event that I had to share....................a 50 meter running event with special needs kids. Now what made it so great was in the last heat there was a 4th grader who was in a wheelchair. He came in last but all of the kids in the stands (most who didn't even know him) stood and cheered him on til he finished!!

Goes to show that there are some decent kids in this world and great parents who rasie them!  Smile

Sometimes patients lie!

Now, a certain patient, will blame me because her surgery got cancel, but hey if she really wanted this surgery she would had find a way to see her primary for an H& P!

Philly - I'm sorry you're having such a bad day, sugar.  Some patients can make it so hard to have compassion, especially when they lie and refuse to take responsiblilty for themselves.  Sounds like you REALLY deserve a long weekend.  Do you have Monday off?

So my kids are going to Spudville ... er, Idaho with my parents for the weekend, and I'm pretty much stuck in bed with my back, since I walk like Yoda.   ROFLMAO
