MY STUPID COMPUTER HAS DECIDED TO NOT HAVE SOUND.      THE CONTROL PANEL SAYS THE SOUND IS ON.  IT IS NOT MUTED BUT I HAVE NO SOUND AND I NEEEEEEEDDDDDDD TO HEAR "LISTEN."  NOT FAIR.

EVERY ONE OF THE PICTURES IS BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS SO HARD NOT TO POST THEM ALL- THERE ARE LOTS MORE IN THE CELLCERT THREAD. AND I THINK ITS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!

I was just checking out my photobucket and I found a pic that got me hmmmmm-ing.
Quite a while ago, I had a discussion with other fans about what I would like to see Clay wear...and this is what I posted at that time:

Re the tackle by Jerome: it happened right at the end of my row. This venue sold beer on the grounds, and in the row in front of us, a couple were really drinking. He kept going out for more beer and coming back in, clearly getting loaded. I saw Jerome take him down (IMPRESSIVE, folks.) It happened in a flash. The guy was walking back down the aisle as Clay was coming up it, singing. The guy went for Clay (a stupid impulsive drunken move; he seemed be offering Clay his hat.) Jerome took him down with a tackle and held him there until security came to remove the drunk. Clay witnessed the takedown, didn’t even blink, turned on his heel immediately, and headed back down the steps, still singing and totally unruffled. (also impressive.) Jerome handled it fantastically well, and he always makes me feel a sense of security about Clay's safety.
Drunken man was allowed to return to his seat in front of us, where he sulked for the rest of the concert, but by the end the drunken lovebird was hugging and cuddling his wife during "Lover All Alone"! Such is the power of the song...or the beer...or both. *g*

We decided to skip the bus line because of the rain (still had 2 more concerts to attend, and wanted to stay healthy--hey, we're not young anymore, heh) but in the parking lot, we ran into the concert master from the orchestra and her husband, who was also in the orchestra. They raved (unsolicited) about Clay. They were thrilled to meet his fans and told us how wonderful he had been to them. They raved about his voice, loved his praise for the orchestra, and certainly were impressed by his speech about supporting the community arts programs (every orchestra loves this!). They remarked more than once that "what you see is what you get" with Clay (their words): a very nice man, no attitude, not a diva, but kind and respectful to all, and a pleasure to work with.

SO I EMAILED MY M & G PHOTO TO MY FRIEND WHO IS HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY ED AT THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE HERE IN PHILLY.  SHE TOLD ME THE THERMOSTAT  IN THE PIC BOTHERED HER SO SHE HAD IT REMOVED.  NOW, I CHANGED MY DESKTOP BACKGROUND.  I HADN'T THOUGHT OF IT BEFORE.  TOO BUSY LOOKING AT THAT GORGEOUS MAN.  THAT WAS SO NICE OF HER.

I just have to say how very proud I am of Clay. Being here for all the cellcerts the last couple of weeks and sharing his triumphs with my friends here at ClayManiacs has been an experience I would not have missed for the world. The pictures and all of the clack has been the most amazing I have ever seen. I have to admit I've been worried about how Clay would do with this tour, after all the negative press and  the obvious attempt of some blogs to discredit him as a singer and entertainer, it's almost like he's Pheonix rising from the ashes (maybe not quite so dramatic) the way with each concert his voice has gotten stronger and stronger and his talent as an entertainer has grown and flourished.
I always knew he was this good but it's oh so special to be able to finally see it with my own eyes. Thanks to all you guys for being here with me and for me while we all enjoy watching this amazing young man.
