Hi everyone 

I want to thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers for me and my mom.  I wanted to give you an update but there really is none.  She broke her hip on Friday and she's still waiting for her surgery.  Each day it is a different obstacle (heart, kidneys, lungs and today urinary infection).  She's still just lying there in extreme pain and highly medicated waiting for the surgery.  It's scheduled for tomorrow but nothing is definite.  It will depend on her vitals in the morning so we just sit and wait preparing each day and then being told it's not a go.  She seems to be deteriorating. 

In my opinion if she had fallen during the week, she would have had her surgery the next day.  She unfortunately fell late on Friday and no one was there to do the surgery over the weekend.  After 3 days of just being highly medicated for pain and just lying there she's deteriorating. 

Please keep her in yours prayers.  She's 86 and a real sweetheart.
