Fran my hubby almost jumped thru the TV screen when he saw Paula!

He did the same thing about a week ago when Carrie Underwood performed on CMT music awards. She was performing "BEFORE HE CHEATS" in shorts and a halter type top. She danced her way over to a chair in the middle of the stage and straddled it...............I thought David was going to need CPR!!

So much for the wide-eyed, innocent farm girl!

And yes, i agree it's nice sometimes to have a big guard dog, especially when the kids are home alone.  The pervs are coming right into our houses now and snatching the kids.  You can't even sleep with the windows open!

It's a deep black color that looks purple in the sunlight.  Very pretty.

Everything is a okay

I've just been really distracted lately with RL! 

Dave had a phone interview a couple of days ago.  Today he had a 2nd interview.  He has applied for his boss's job.  We are going back and forth as to whether or not we would accept a transfer if it were offered.  I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and everything else to get out of here, but Dave wants to stay put.  So, I've been doing a lot of praying lately.  My best friend lives in Chicago and I miss her very badly.  She moved away 10 years ago when she got married.  So, even though I know that there is absolutely no way that Dave would ever say yes to a transfer, there's always that little bit of hope that if the offer is right, that maybe, just maybe, he would say yes.  I know, it sounds totally crazy, but I've been a little sad knowing that one more chance slipped through my fingers to be close to my friend again.

There's also the same position available in Cleveland.  My Dad's whole family lives in suburbs of Cleveland.  One of my cousin's lives about 12 minutes from the Cleveland office.  I wouldn't mind moving there either. 

So like I said.  I've just been moping around here because even though Dave has a very good chance of getting this promotion.  I was really hoping to move, but I do not see that happening at all, and it just makes me a little sad.
