You're welcome everyone!

My first - and probably last - cellcert for the tour.  Usually I don't like cellcerts, but when you're actually hearing him it's pretty fun!!  Laughing

Thank you to Debi, who was the one who made the call to our "host", Dee.  Debi, you are the greatest!!!

Debi lost her voice tonight - after the show, someone else had to talk in the phone for her!  So the Mafia was definitely doing their fair share of screaming!!  rofl

Can't WAIT to see the vids, and see what he had everyone in stitches over!!

Clay came out to shake hands at the bus -- Jerome's kids are with Jerome -- lots of gifts by the bus from the crowd -- he must be feeling good to walk the line again--

POOR CLAY WAS SICK FOR OUR CONCERT- SO NO HANDSHAKE <sniff>

THE EPITOME OF DECORUM

I love the version of OCOCE by SC Chapman, but I actually would love to hear Clay professionally record the traditional version (the one in the minor key).  It is one of my favorite Christmas songs...
I tend to favor that one over this newer version too, Thea.

WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER HE DID DO AN OLDER VERSION. ITS CLACK SOMEWHERE

WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER HE DID DO AN OLDER VERSION. ITS CLACK SOMEWHERE

EMMANUEL - Younger Clay

The first part of the song is a capella, the second part is with some background music - but it's very soft and you can clearly hear Clay.  It's from 1999, seems so long ago - but it is still just as beautiful as ever!!  It still amazes me that he has never had formal lessons.  His voice sounds so trained, he has such control, such power.  And the emotion he puts into every song - you can just feel what he is feeling.  Amazing.  Even songs like this from 7 years ago make me weak at the knees!!

Clay looks great in the Detroit pictures!  I thought I read he had NO stubble.......well, I sure see stubble.  Not like Red Bank, but it's there.   Thud!

Love the outfit.....would love to see more of the "pants of perfection".

I'm so glad he's feeling better.  Maybe now he'll score.   Paranoid Wink
