Orchestra's playing the WEST WING theme....get ready for some dancin' ....coming up real soon now.....but a little banter first....I can hear him really clearly....asking if anyone is here for the first time tonight.....he loves the West Wing...riffs on making his people watch the show every night on the bus...it's in their contract...." I watch too much TV and there is nothing wrong with that, except getting too fat!"

The audience just sang a line of These Open Arms to him, because he was talking during the orchestra intro....amazing....quite the audience tonight..  

He sang the bejeepers out of this song (These Open Arms) and so did the gals.

Quiana sez her mom, dad, and son are in the audience--at least that what I think she said....and he said, "sing a song for them."
Q starts WTLGD.....starting low and beautiful... I just love her voice.

Hi again, I was on the cellcert but decided to save the rest of my battery till after intermission, the thing only lasts for  a little over an hour.

Sure, how did you manage all that typing in such a short time...LOL I was having a hard time keeping up just reading.

Clay's wearing a pale, possibly pink, possibly beige shirt-maybe the same one as Houston. They think it could be the rivet jeans...poor lighting according to the CV cellcert...not nearly as hot as yesterday. He doesn't have his vitamin water-just regular water tonight.

It should be over.  The intermisson started at 9:10.

Cellcerter also sez that it is a very small stage and Clay is really crowded up there. A bit worried that in his sandals he could trip over wires or whatever.

I'll post more later but you all need to download this concert! Angela put handcuffs on Clay during "Sexy Back" and they were all hysterical! I really had fun. Lover All Alone was a tear jerker, but we all got a handshake last night.  :smile

Thank you again, Pamela, for doing the conference cert for us last night!  It came in loud and clear (tho, not as clear as Cary).  I listened to the whole thing, wishing like heck that I was there with you guys!  Home Mama P enjoys her concert tonight.  Tell her "hey" for all of us here.   :bigsmile

Sorry the reception wasn't better last night; I was afraid it wouldn't be from the mountains, plus I was further back.

BUT.... the concert was amazing!  Almost everyone thought it was better than Cary, but I'm not sure.  Measure of a Man was so powerful... and MY FIRST busline was a fun experience!  I thought it was appropriate it should be on the front lawn of the Biltmore.... so much fun.

More later, but I have to hit the road soon and go get my mama!  I'll broadcast from Knoxville tonight, row J I think.  It's inside so I'm not sure how that will work out, but I'll give it a try.

The concert last night was wonderful! I've found a new love for some of the songs on ATDW ... it just took hearing them live a few times. MOAM was pure perfection Friday and Saturday nights.

I'm very sad to be leaving NC and the wonderful people here, but I'm sure I'll be back. :bigsmile
