The area there has a lot of walk up traffic and the venue really felt like they would sell a lot today. The front row is almost literally on the stage. It's time for the orchestra now. We love them and thank them for coming! If you have been before, you'll recognize Jesse Vargas. He's our musical director and was with us in 2004 for Joyful Noise. Clay says that JNT 2004 was "back in the day". :lol Talking about Jesse and when he started playing piano. Clay said something and the audience went NUTS. I have no clue what he did or said though. He kept telling them to "calm down" Talking about Angela and Quiana and how he stole Quiana's song, but he would rather listen to her sing it. He said tonight's audience is like a studio audience. He is making them boo and aww and moan. Very funny! It's so smooth and beautiful. It's easy to see why this is one of his favorites. This was sublime tonight. He mentioned them collecting toys for Toys for Tots at tonight's concert. I think they collected quite a few toys. Talking about how he has had such amazing opportunities over the last three years. Thanks to the fans for so much of that. He also was able to start BAF. Talking about the Camp Gonzo locations. Two years ago he got involved with an organization that 4 years ago he had no clue about. UNICEF is an amazing organization. Explaining what all they do. Make sure to go check out this orchestra sometime in the future. They have been with him for 3 shows and they are amazing! Around this time of year we start to tell people how much we love them and we show people that we care. That needs to happen all year round, not just in December. He's having the audience give each other hugs. Claynation is a breed something special. Try to explain what cellcert means to even some one who is technically a walking computer and they go eh? No wonder a lot of people hates Claymates. they can't believe that at our age we are able to spread joys and frienship through the internet, all because of collective love for Clay. I for one was so scared to even touch the keyboard of my husband PC in case I erased everything,but I wanted so badly to be able to communicate to anyone who loves Clay.
