Juke Box Tour Itinerary Set

Vocalist Clay Aiken has filled in the gaps on his summer tour schedule, which launches in late July and now includes stops in 25 North American cities. Aiken--who gained fame in 2003, when he was the runner-up to Ruben Studdard on the Fox-TV talent show "American Idol"--will spend more than a month on the road, focusing entirely on cities East of the Mississippi River. Clay Inspired to Write in Uganda

"I’m thinking of composing a song about the plight of IDPs in northern Uganda. When I return to the US I will talk to some people. Possibly in the coming months, I’ll have composed it. We should think of creative ways of sensitising the international community about the crisis," Clay Aiken said on Friday. Aiken, who is the UNICEF national ambassador for education, was addressing the press at the UNICEF offices in Kampala. To read more, go here.
