Thanks y'all for asking about me!      You are all so sweet.  I know that I havent been around much. I have been busy and very tired. But please know that I do keep up with y'all and pray for y'all.  I hope you all know that    

With that being said...  The news that y'all have been waiting for.  

We are having two girls!

There once was a man...who was a teacher...In his own words...that is what he considered himself...and desired to be...a teacher...

But one day...that man's life...took an unexpected turn...

"celebrities" do...He went on tour...multiple times...He recorded CD's...He attended award shows...He received awards...He made television appearances...He made special appearances...He gave countless interviews...He had his picture splashed across newspapers and magazines...He did some acting...He wrote a book...And he became a celebrity spokesperson...for many wonderful causes...

Yet behind all the "celebrity"...was still...just the same man...The man who wanted to be a teacher...The man...who in his own words..."just wanted to make a difference"...

And this week...that man...left his "celebrity" behind him...And went to a place...on the other side of the world...A place...where he sat among children...once again...the teacher...

Talking to them...LISTENING to them...Playing...dancing...and singing with them...Learning with them...Making a difference...in their day...in their lives...

Yes...this man...is a "singer"...with a voice...that touches...and resonates...in the hearts...and souls...of so many...

But more than a "singer"...this man...is still...a teacher...

YOU...Mr. Aiken...are still...A TEACHER...

Your classroom no longer has walls...desks...chairs...or BOUNDARIES...And your students will number...too high to count...They will be all ages...all races...all faiths...They will speak many languages...

Because your classroom...is now...the world...

I hope...you will always be..."our singer"...Mr. Aiken...But even more so...I hope you will always be...the man who wanted...to be...a teacher...

Angela, You know I was really upset about the change, but, in the long run, he's the one who is going to be sorry.  I made up my mind, that I'm going to make the best of it. Wow, Bookmark writes the most beautiful things about
Clay.  I am going to have to start another folder just
for her writings.

Angela and Woody:  Long time no see at night here.

We pretty much predicted the results of tonight's
AI4.  It's always sad to see the losers upset, but someone
has to go.  They did the right thing tonight.

Clandy:  My computer froze up and
I couldn't get my post to you on the AI thread.  I didn't mean to
imply that you were comparing, no, not at all.  I think
the general public picks someone every year and this
year it was Anthony.  That could be considered a
compliment.  Oh yeah, it was Simon that said, "You
remind me of Clay, a real sweet guy."  Remember.
See, that's how it all starts.  I don't think he looks like
Clay, but certainly has the nice guy qualities; there is
nothing wrong with that.  That's a good thing.

Lorraine, get some sleep and get better.  Call me
tomorrow.

Andrea, I don't know you well yet because my computer
has been giving me a hard time.  Hope to see you more
soon.

Does anyone know if we can change our titles?  Judy's
title is so cute.  It just got me in the mood to have a
