Clay's Fiddlin' Poet

« on: February 28, 2005, 03:53:46 PM »

Hi, Y'all

Since the Forum has changed, some of the colors are no longer available to us, for instance, cornflower blue.
I am not going to delete them, but just notice the ones that are now white.  Perhaps, over time, all the colors will work again.

COLOR CHART

Prissy red
Prissy orange
Prissy brown
Prissy yellow
Prissy green
Prissy olive
Prissy cyan
Prissy violet
Prissy tan
Prissy aqua
Prissy lime
Prissy pink
Prissy gold
Prissy silver
Prissy magenta
Prissy teal
Prissy hotpink
Prissy chartreuse
Prissy skyblue
Prissy sienna
Prissy seagreen
Prissy salmon
Prissy aquamarine
Prissy fuchsia
Prissy turquoise
Prissy goldenrod
Prissy coral

The following colors are from Bozena:

I am just writing in colors in place of the ones given to get additional colors.

I confess:  I got some of my color names from CRAYONS!!

Here is another color chart from Tammy:

http://www.gpick.net/sbr/html/colortbl.htm

And a color chart from Clay's Cashew:

http://www.immigration-usa.com/html_colors.html

I found some new colors!  Let's see how these work:

Prissy lawngreen
Prissy lightgreen
Prissy mediumpurple

Well how about that.  I had no idea all those colors would even work on this board format!

I had experimented with skyblue and lime but that's as far as I took it.

Here's something though...please, no one use those dark colors!  It's way too hard to read on the black background!

Otherwise, get c o l o r f u l!

Those are great, Prissy!  How fun!

For our newer members, if you're wondering how to use these different colors, all you have to do is insert the color's name in the code.

For example, if you select the color red from the color menu above, you get this code (minus the spaces):

[  color  =  red  ]

Except, as I said, there are no spaces inbetween.  You simply change "red" to whatever other color you want to use.  So if want deep pink, the code is:

[  color  =  deeppink  ]

When the spaces are removed, your text will appear that color.

Just like this.

If anyone has questions, feel free to PM me.  And many thanks to Prissy and Tammy for the great colors!

Color Chart. WOO!!!

You just use the numbers instead of the color. :) It's quite fun. *dances*
