Thanks for the good news, DEANNA!    I'm not surprised that they didn't actually make her the offer today (if they plan to).  They now have salary, benefits and other administrivia to work out before making an offer.  It's certainly much more complicated than it used to be.  Meanwhile, let's keep her in our thoughts and prayers!!

But we're still entitled to be disappointed.

Okay, y'all.

I just realized that I jumped right in whining without even saying hello!

I'm sorry!  You guys are so kind to me - you didn't deserve that.  

I'm bitchy today (Am I grouded for saying that word?  LOL  It's in the dictionary!)  because I'm in a LOT OF PAIN and reeeeeeeaaaallllly sick of it.



I went grocery shopping, and now I can't even stand up.  The pain in my back, right between my shoulder blades, is making me nuts.  It hurts to turn my head, lift my arms, cough, sneeze, and breathe.   And, of course, the headache from Hell.  So, I'm back in bed again.     One step forward, two steps back...

Then, I'm doing my promotion duties for Carmen Rasmusen.  I called in to a local station to request her song.  It is the ONLY time I have ever called in a request.  The DJ was a real weenie.  I tried to be diplomatic about it, but lost my patience when he called Carmen an airhead.  (How professional is that, anyway?!?)  

So I got ticked and said, "I've credited the country music stations for the kind way they welcomed Josh Gracin, as opposed to the pop industries reactions to AI singers.  I just thought you'd afford Carmen the same kindess.  Especially since she's from Utah, and YOU INTERVIEWED HER yesterday on your station!!!"  

I asked if he was being bombarded with requests for Carmen's music or something and he actually said, "No.  A few a day so far.  Couple a emails..."

Uh ... then WHY the nasty attitude?

So I said, "Well, none of them were from me.  This is the first and LAST time I'll call in a request."

So - Carmen should probably fire me now.  LOL

I see we have a lovely new Mansion.  Plenty of room to lounge around and snack on Krispy Kremes and tell lecherous tales about our beloved Emperor.

I love Clay.  I love the seasoned performer he's becoming as he gets more Hollywood savvy.  You can see the transformation on his face.

But sometimes I miss wide-eyed, American Idol Clay.  Just a little.

DECIDED TO SUPPORT THE RED CROSS.  NOW MY PRINCIPAL WANTS ME TO GIVE THE MONEY TO THEM.  I FEEL LIKE KIDS COLLECTED THE MONEY.  IT SHOULD GO TO KIDS.  EDUCATION.  WHAT DO I DO?

GWENN, IMO the Honor Society Kids should be able to enjoy the fruits of their labors by receiving a letter of acknowledgement directly from the American Red Cross.  Tell the principal in your school to shove it!!  Your kids are much more important than another notch in the belt for the school district.
