Clay Aiken came in second behind Ruben Studdard on Fox TV's American Idol but his massive fan base and double platinum sales of his 2003 debut album Measure of a Man catapulted him to superstardom. His first single, "This is the Night," made history by entering Billboard's Top 100 at Number 1 selling more than 392,000 copies during its first week. It beat Elton John's record for "Candle in the Wind 1997." Measure of a Man also entered at Number 1 moving 613,000 units during its debut week.

NO CRYING, NOW- THIS IS A JOYFUL NOISE TOUR AND CLAY WANTS US TO BE HAPPY- HE SINGS HIS SONGS WITH JOY!!!

HE WILL REALIZE THAT HE MISSES US AS MUCH AS WE MISS HIM- YOU CAN TELL HE THRIVES AND FEEDS OFF US- SO I DONT THINK HE WILL BE GONE AS LONG AS WE THINK!- AND WE HAVE BEEN SPOILED WITH A PLETHORA OF CLAY APPEARANCES IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS
