That arrangement hardly lends itself to boppin' holiday fun. But as his final leg-lifting poses suggested, perhaps he would have brought a more vibrant spark to the proceedings if he could have. Maybe his lack of energy was merely a matter of his fading illness rearing its viral tail.

Leg-lifting?Maybe he's taking his jokes about dating his dog too seriously? My guess about the bump....John found  out Ambers coming along on this tour and whacked Clay with the flatiron

Clay's Official Christmas Elf (he said so!)

« Reply #22 on: November 29, 2004, 09:39:35 AM »

When I was shopping this weekend, I found that Ruben and Fantasia were sold out pretty much everywhere but Clay was in ample stock.  It was pretty interesting, frankly.  That may have had something to do with the fact that R and F were on sale while Clay was full price.

Why else implore attending Claymaniacs(whose squeals and cries of "Will you marry me?" he routinely ignored) to keep their signs at home and dress up for the occasion?

I would like officially announce that I although I may squeeeal from time to time, I would never cry out "will you marry me" to Clay.  I am already happily married, after all.

It's always something with this fan thing, isn't it?
That's right Michelle, some days you just can't win.
I knew it would happen sooner or later!

Wouldn't that be an interesting dilemma.  Clay says, I love you and I want you to marry me. Choices?  hmmmmm... (of course I would choose my husband, right?)

I loved the good reviews.  Of course he is tired.  It takes a long time after you stop having an infection to get the energy back.  At his pace, he may not get it back.  The San Jose reviews sure sound like he is getting much better though; being very chatty is a good sign.

Overall pretty good news today!  I love that he is a contemporary of Josh Groban...that is a big deal!

Thanks Pamela, Deanna and Susan!

I didn't know that Amber was on the tour?  Does anybody know what's up with that?
