Thanks girls for the great news.

How are things in Maine, Deanna?  Do you have a lot of snow?  We were supposed to head up to our son's in MA today, but he called and said it was already snowing at 20:20, so we cancelled.  We were so sad about that.  Well, you can't stop Mother Nature!

I hope you are healthy and happy this weekend with your family.

Love,
Linda

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you all my Clay experience this holiday season. It is chronicled on my blog: http://dontsneezeintothefan.blogspot.com/

This is not a plug for my blog just didn't want to go through all that formatting here again.  I love these boards!

Happy New Year!

STLClayCrazy-
Loved the blog! Glad that you enjoyed the Chicago concert. I wanted to drive up there to see that one also, but figured I was pushing my luck since I had just flown in the day before from Florida where I got to see Clay's Clearwater concert while I was graduating from my college distance learning program. I was everely disappointed that Clay was not in St. Louis this tour, but I still got to see him thankfully! Maybe the next time he is in St. Louis, we can plan to meet up- that is where I usually attend concerts since I live about 2 hours away in IL (near Hannibal, MO). Happy New Year and thanks for posting the link- it was wonderful to read your adventure diary!!

Thanks Pamela & clayMaine-iac for all the great updates!

As the GOOD NEWS keeps rolling in, I am so proud of OMC!!!!!

On a side note: The Rolling Stone (special Issue) People Of The Year (Dec. 30, 2004 Issue 964/965) has Merry Christmas With Love at Number #13 in the Top 40 Albums & a small blip about Clay on pg. 32 (under The Industry section)....paraphrased,  "So why did (cd) sales drop this fall despite the big business of U2, Eminem & other post-Thanksgiving  blockbusters such as Clay Aiken's Merry Christmas with Love & Destiny's Childs Destiny Fulfilled?..."

Although I will NEVER understand the music industry & all the politics it entails, IT WAS STILL VERY COOL to see Clay's Christmas album listed & recognized as a "BLOCKBUSTER" in R.S.!!!!!!

Added sales of 829 for Learning to Sing last week, for a #30 placement on the NY Times Bestseller NF List.

I think my local library needs a copy...a nice thing to do if you have a library nearby!

Good idea, Pamela! I'm going to see if our library has a copy. If they don't, I might just have to donate one!
