I know it's not the most important thing in the world right now that Clay sold lots of books and CDs; there's lots of other more important things.  And I know that the majority of people who aren't us couldn't really care less. But with all the tragic things going on the world, it's nice to have some little piece of Good News nearly every single day.

So, in the interest of forever spreading the Good News, with a little help from Deanna and some info from the other boards, I present to you –

I just added that 1.12 million copies were shipped.  The record label can apply for platinum status with the RIAA after 1 month.  Hopefully, by then MCWL will have sold enough CD's to qualify.  I think Gold Status (500,000 CD's sold) will be very easy.  Perhaps as early as next week if sales continue at a good clip. (But, the RIAA certificate for Gold Album would still have to wait for the one month mark.) Stay-tuned!!!

I knew Billboard did a special holiday chart and i'm glad he hit the top on it. the Christian chart i wasn't even thinking about so that's a surprise!! And to think some of the critics were worried that a holiday CD wouldn't sell! Laugh Right now i believe he's on a pace to hit GOLD within a few weeks
