A big thank you Clay and Colleen!!!

HI everyone!

I know I've seriously been MIA for a good couple months. I've been saying that I've been super busy - which is an understatement. I did want to check in though and let you know I am still living.

This topic however is a big thank you to CLay and a few other Claymaniacs (mostly Houstonclayfan). Let me explain.

If it wasn't for CLay, I'd have never met so many wonderful people (especially Colleen)
Colleen encouraged me to try online searches for a possible Mr. Songbird. So if it wasn't for Colleen I may not have met Justin.
Justin is someone I've only known for a short amount of time but from our first conversation I have known he would be my future Mr. Songbird.

Well this past Sunday night - Justin asked if he could be my Mr. Songbird (not those particular words) so he's gone from my friend to my boyfriend to now being my fiancee.

Clay helped me get through so much hurt in my life when MOAM came out. Now I feel like as his Christmas cd comes out, I'm starting a brand new beautiful chapter in my life as I prepare to be Mrs. Renee DuRocher (aka Songbird457). Clay helped me meet Colleen - Colleen helped lead/ nudge me to Justin.

So thank you Clay!

And thank you to all of you for your pm's and kind words, your thoughts and prayers - I love you all!! And i do miss you and all of the Clay fun. I'm still here - just not as often. But I just wanted to post this thank you to some very special people in my life.

I hope you and Justin can be great friends (as well as lovers) throughout the years...I adore my hubby more now than I did 18 years ago when I met him...and, I seem to get more and more attracted to him as we grow older together...and, my stomach still does flippy floppy's when I hear his deep voice on the phone!  Strange, huh...

If you feel like singing when you are around Justin, he IS the right one.  That's how you'll know...if he makes you really feel the JOY that is inside of you.  I'm a singer too and I had quite a few years where I couldn't sing anymore because I didn't feel joyful.  Clay brought the joy (and the singing) back into my life and my hubby's life...

Hmmmm....I can think of some great Wedding songs!
