I just pray that his voice holds out - I was concerned for him at the BIG E concert - his voice broke twice in Solitaire (never heard that happen before) and he didn't do the "growl" in ISY - I imagine that's very hard on the vocal chords. At least he's getting a little rest now.
HI there JoJo! You know, I thought Clay's voice was incredible for the shows I was able to see in person, and I was amazed that he sounded as good as he did on the Big E downloads I saw! He may have cracked...but I wonder if emotion played a part...or the weather. I understand it was cold that night, and singing outside in cold weather for any length of time is probably not good.

Mary Did You Know... it's just so lovely and encompassing.
Oh, and can I just get a HECK YEAH! for this tour schedule? HECK YEAH!
Yay for California and Florida too! The NE is awsomely blessed once again. I am grateful for Raleigh of course.
I know some of you are disappointed...Pacific NW, Canada.... I am truly sorry that it doesn't appear that anything could be arranged for those areas.
Keep in mind the logistics of a tour such as this. This tour has probably been in the making for a few months. But even a few months isn't always enough time to get every single detail taken care of.
This tour schedule would have to mesh with the TV appearances already announced. Many venues, especially the smaller ones, are extremely busy around the holidays, with local events as well as concerts, holiday themed shows, plays etc.
The logistics of a national tour are probably mind blowing when you get right down to it. As far as Canada goes, think about the exchange rate as well as customs.
There is also past history as far as ticket sales. Clay's ticket sales have traditionally done better in the NE and in NC. It stands to reason that's where his appearances may be concentrated.
I'm sure Clay would love to visit the Pacific NW again, as well as Canada, and other areas of the country where he hasn't performed yet. And he will. And it will be fabulous when he does!
