Fantasia and Diana DeGarmo have nothing on Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken, as anyone with an ear already knows. It was also evident looking at Savvis Center, which was less than half full for the American Idols Live show on Sunday night. Last year, Aiken and Studdard filled the place.
Music-industry theorists surmise the public isn't interested in Fantasia and the other third-season finalists as personalities the way it was with past finalists, which may be true. But except for preteens and the parents who accompany them, folks also seem to have realized how preposterous it is to pay good concert money to see a crew as motley as this
