Good Morning Everyone.  I just arrived home about 30 minutes ago and as I was driving I was trying to think how I can put into words what I saw and felt last night and as much as it will be impossible I will do by best.

As everyone knows the venue was sold out.  We wondered how this Connecticut crowd would react to Clay but we also had to keep in mind that people come to Foxwoods from all states so it was just not Connecticut there.

Cherie I felt was great.  She tried to get the crowd motivated and everytime she mentioned Clay or Claymates she got us screaming.  Well onto Clay.  Lights go down and everyone just starts screaming and the way the stage was set up he came out from these stairs that were all lit with lights and it opened up like a big door.  Unbelievable entrance.  Crowd was going literally crazy.  Of course so was Linda and I.  Our seats were not good but I guess we were lucky to even get a ticket there.  I knew that I was not close enough to get on stage but when it came to the dance part I tried to get out on the walk to go closer to the stage and the casino has their own security in each aisle and the guy wouldn't let me go down.  I told him how was I going to get Clay to notice me so I could win the dance and he just sent me back into my seat.  I wanted to knock him down but then came to my senses.  I did remind him later that he made me lose that contest.

Clays voice was incredible.  After listening to all these cellcerts before last night and hearing how fantastic his voice was I realized last night what they meant.  Beyond believable.  Every song he sang made by heart jump.  The crowd reacted to every song he sang.  I mean every song he sang.  He had the red striped shirt and red tie on with those fitting jeans for the first couple of songs. No glasses and perfect hair.  Then after intermission he came out in a blue shirt and dark striped pants.  This was the time that Linda and I was able to go down and front and sit with a lady whose husband had left to go and gamble so no one noticed we were sharing one seat.  At that point were like 6 rows from the stage and that is where we can see Clay's face crystal clear.  I knew how beautiful he was from pictures but seeing him that close I was able to see that face so close I wanted to die.  I kept screaming "I Love You Clay" and waving my hands like crazy to get his attention.  Then he left to go and change and came out in THE WHITE SUIT and that song You Were There was totally out of this world.  People were crying and I had to hold back myself.  Just writing this and remember that moment is making my heart feel so much love for him.  Even more love than my heart can hold.  We knew it was almost over so we had to go back to our old seats but there were several standing ovations, and finally with Solitaire. I didn't think he could get any better well you know what he did.  AMAZING comes to mind.

If anyone has any chance in hell to see Clay please do so.  I came away saying I just love this guy more than I did before last night if that is possible.

Understand one thing.  Clay's performance has left my heart full of joy and love for him that I cannot explain.  I sit here today feeling so happy and on the other hand feeling a little sad because I realize once, twice maybe even three times will never be enough.  But please make sure you see him at least once and you will never be the same and neither will your heart.

I will be back with another update and there is still more to tell but I am a little tired.  I am glad I am writing this because I have lost some of my voice from all the screaming last night.  CLAY I LOVE YOU TODAY MORE THAN I DID YESTERDAY AND WILL LOVE YOU EVEN MORE TOMORROW.

HUGS

Lorraine,

Thanks so much for your words! I know they are heartfelt! I look forward to more of the THUDDING aspects once you get yourself calm again. What a night you must have had! I just had a feeling you would find a way to be closer to Clay! So proud..so proud!

Since you were nearer the front, did the front of the crowd REACT to Clay or was it just polite applause! I would think that no matter what location(venue) you are in..high roller or not, that you must be a fan or with a fan to secure those seats and be happy about it!

Look forward to everyones experience!! We were with you in spirit!!

Lorraine-
My heart was with you last night. I'd love to go to a concert but, you know the distance... Thank you so much for your review: unedited and straight from you heart!
I only wish I had been there to do something (illegal) to the guy who didn't allow you to get closer to Clay. But I'm sure that all the good wishes of your Claymates got you to a closer seat.
I feel that next time bigger and better things will be happening to you when you see Clay.
Big hugs,
Clara

HI EVERYONE,
LORRAINE SAID IT PERFECT.
CLAY WAS ABOVE & BEYOND AMAZING.  HE SANG EVERY SONG FLAWLESSLY AND WITH SO MUCH PASSION.  HE MADE ME MELT FROM HIS FIRST NOTE ON,  THAT IS WHEN I KNEW I WAS A GONNER.  WHEN CLAY CAME ON STAGE,  YOU COULD FEEL THE LOVE ALL AROUND THE ROOM.
CLAY IS EVERYTHING,   HE IS FUN, HE IS SERIOUS, HE IS CLASSY, HE IS A GOOF (BUT IN THE CUTEST WAY), HE IS LOVING, HE IS SEXY,HE IS SPIRTUAL, HE IS JUST WONDERFUL! :D

HE GIVES SO MUCH TO HIS FANS WHEN HE IS SINGING, DANCING & TALKING TO THE AUDIANCE.   WHEN CLAY SINGS,   HE  JUST GRABS YOUR HEART AND SENDS YOU OFF INTO HEAVEN.

CLAY LOVES AND APPRECIATES HIS FANS SO MUCH.  I FOUND THAT SO TOUCHING.  FANS WERE SCREAMING OUT, "I LOVE YOU CLAY" & HE WOULD SAY I LOVE YOU TOO--I LOVE YOU ALL.

AS I WAS WATCHING CLAY GIVE THE BEST PERFORMANCE THAT I HAD EVER SEEN.  I COULD TELL IT WAS JUST SO NATURAL FOR HIM.  HE FEELS SO COMFORTABLE UP THERE.
IT IS SORT OF FUNNY CLAY DOES NOT SWEAT.  IT IS SO NATURAL FOR HIM TO BE ON STAGE PERFORMING FOR US---YOU CAN REALLY TELL HE REALLY LOVES HIS FANS  (I CAN'T SAY THAT ENOUGH).

I LOVE THIS GUY AND MAY GOD BLESS HIM!!!

TAKE CARE,

ONE OTHER THING,

I MUST GIVE CREDIT TO CHERI.  I THOUGHT SHE HAD A LOT OF TALENT, GREAT VOICE , AND WAS SO CUTE.  HER VOICE REMINDED ME OF A YOUNGER, ZIPPIER CELION DION.

THE DUET SHE SANG WITH CLAY SOUNDED AMAZING.

WELL I JUST WOKE UP FROM A TWO HOUR NAP AND STILL DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A VOICE BACK.

ALL IF WANT TO SAY IS BE STILL MY HEART!  HE HAS CAST A SPELL ON ME AND IT WON'T LET GO.

WHEN LINDA AND I WERE ABLE TO SNEAK DOWN TO THE FRONT WITH THE SO CALLED HIGH ROLLERS WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THEY WERE JUST AS CRAZY AND THE FANS ABOVE.  JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE MONEY DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T HAVE THE SAME FEELINGS AS ALL OF US.  MAYBE EVEN MORE.

WHEN CLAY SANG "YOU WERE THERE" IT LEFT ME AND SEVERAL PEOPLE AROUND US NUMB.  HIS PERFORMANCE WITH THIS SONG SENT THE HOUSE TO A STANDING OVATION. ONE OF SEVERAL.

WHEN HE SANG "STILL THE ONE".  WHY DO WE ALL KEEP SAYING THIS MAN CAN DANCE.  WELL I SAW MOVES FROM HIM FROM THAT BODY AND THOSE LONG LEAN LEGS TO DIE FOR.

SOLITAIRE WAS INCREDIBLE.  WHEN HE WAS SINGING THAT SONG HE WAS HOLDING THAT MICROPHONE WITH THOSE BEAUTIFUL HANDS AND ALL I COULD HAVE WISHED AT THE MOMENT WAS I WANTED TO BE THAT MICROPHONE STAND.  WHAT A PERFORMANCE.  REACHED NOTES THAT AT THE END OF THE NIGHT THAT I DIDN'T THINK HE COULD REACH.  WELL HE PROVED ME WRONG.

LINDA AND I ALSO MET A FREE LANCE WRITER FROM FLORIDA BY THE NAME OF GIGI.  WHAT A WONDERFUL WOMAN.  SHE TOLD US THAT SHE HAD INTERVIEWED CLAY AT LEAST FOUR TIMES AND SAID WHAT YOU SEE WITH HIM IS WHAT YOU GET.  SHE SAID HE IS SO HOT RIGHT NOW AND DOES NOT SEE IT ENDING.  SHE ALSO SAID THAT HE IS ALREADY A STAR AND THAT CLAY HAS BEEN TRYING EVERY WHICH WAY TO GET THE AI NAME AWAY FROM HIM.

WHEN THEY SHOWED THE VIDEO ABOUT THIS PAST YEAR AND A HALF AND ALL THE PICTURES OF CLAY FROM THE BEGINNING I JUST WANTED TO CRY IT WAS THAT WONDERFUL.  WHAT MEMORIES AND GOOD ONES AND SHOWED HOW FAR HE HAS GONE AND WENT FROM A BOY INTO ONE WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS HUNK OF A MAN.

TO BE CONTINUED.

Hello everyone,

You have already been given some reviews.  I just wish we could have talked more to Deanna.  I hope you enjoyed the cellcert concert, Deanna.

Well, I just had to take a short nap.  I actually went to work today after the concert last night.  Lorraine stayed over and, honestly, when we both woke up we felt like we had been hit by a truck (in a good way).  We could hardly talk, we were limp.  We showed so much emotion for Clay and got so much back from him last night, it actually drained us!!!!!!!!!!  We sang all the way there, while we were there and sang all the way home; add that into the yelling and screaming equals not much voice left.

We also had the privilege of meeting Sasha and her sister and mother and Angelas's (MA) husband and parents.  What a beautiful group of people.
Of course, Lorraine and I could let loose more because we only had each other to contend with.  We shared a lot of Clay love with Sasha and Angela.  Love those girls.

It is true about the security.  We got shooed back to our seats when we tried to go down to the middle ailse and dance.  While starting to talk to Deanna, the "kid" spotted that too and told us to put the cell phone away!
Well, we just held it low so Deanna heard the whole fantastic concert.

There are four of us to tell you that Clay was in his best form:  his looks, his hair, his moves, his voice, the mic hand moves, his clutches and determination, etc.  We were blessed last night!!  Lorraine was right, he had the place in the palm of his hands!  There was a tall guy sitting next to me that came only because he was invited and it was free, but by the end of the show, he was Clayverted!  I made sure of that.  He was a good sport.

I walked in the theatre in a highly emotional state and I came out of the concert in a daze.  I kept saying, How can he sing like that and not collapse; How can he look so beautiful?  How can he drive us crazy? How will we handle these feelings that I didn't think would get any stronger, but they did last night!  I kept clutching Lorraine's arm, saying "I can't stand it."  We would have had no problem standing and dancing the full concert time, but the guy behind us didn't like that. Laughing:

I loved Cheri and Clay together.  She was awesome.  I don't know if it was because of a smaller theatre or what, but their voices were crystal clear; absolutely perfect and amazing!!!!  I could see them putting out a duet.  The girl he picked out to sing was awesome too while she sang Without You with Clay.  She had really been practicing for this.

He owned the place and he owned us.  Like I always ask, "Are you sure we aren't from another planet."  I felt that again.  Totally in another zone with Clay being my leader the whole time he was on that stage."

I told Lorraine we have to get a better picture of  Clay, so we went down to the front section and while she was talking to a couple, I moved my way down closer to the stage and gave a lady a sob story about not being able to get a picture of Clay.  She said, "Oh you can have the seat next to me, my husband went to gamble."  What a sweetheart.  Lorraine came down and the three of us shared two seats.  The lady was from NJ and it was her first concert.  Yup, Clayverted!!!!!!!!!!

You were there and Solitaire.  The best!!!!!!!!!!!  People sighing and tears flowing.  He was right on.  I didn't think he would make the glory notes because his voice was starting to crack when he talked, but he must have taken some magical potion, because he came back out and sang like I never heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We met a lot of nice people, loved seeing our own Claymaniacs and came out walking on air.  Got in the car, talked about Clay, put on the radio and started singing again.  Yes, Angela, you love him and we all love him more and more and more!  I felt so lucky to be there last night since my mom's situation could have been worse.  Thank you God for my evening and for Clay!

The freelance writer from Florida was all about Clay.  She just didn't know why he didn't plan a concert in Florida.  She interviewed a lot of CT fans.
Not us, but she got all great comments from the girls she did talk to.

Okay, I think we have covered it all.  I am still kind of in a daze.  Sasha is the only one left to come on unless I missed it.

On to NH next week and PA.  I don't know how I will tell my mother.  She is probably coming home next week.  Help, what will I say.  "Mom, I'm in love, is all I can think of." Laughing:  Wink:

If anyone is interested, Cherie's CD is on Netscape. The song that she sang as a duet with Clay is the 9th song... about 30:30 into the CD.

Enjoy!  :D

Good morning everyone.  I am back from being Clayed.

I can't say much more then Lorraine, Linda and Angela.  He was simply amazing, that was the best performance I ever had seen him do.  He was just flawless and his voice was simply amazing. He puts so much emotion and love into each song and you could feel the love from the audience to him. He gave 200% Thursday night. When Clay sings he just touches you heart and soul. Clay never forgets his fans and gives his all to them on stage, he has the greatest stage presence.  Clay I don’t care what you say you can dance.

I'm like Angela as soon as he came out I knew I was a goner. He was so amazing, I just can’t describe it.  And I must say I thought Cheri was very talented and put on a good show, and her duet with Clay was amazing.  I agree with Angela she sounded like a liverly Celine Dione.

SOLITAIRE WAS INCREDIBLE., what a performance, after singing all night I never thought he could hit that note but he did and it was incredible.  The whole night was incredible, I will never forget his performance, and it’s etched in my mind.

Angela it was great seeing you again and it was great meeting Linda and Lorraine, we truly had a great experience Thursday night, one that we will never forget.  Thank you Clay for giving us the best performance ever, you are truly an incredible performer and person, one of a kind………
