"I need help!!!"

« on: July 24, 2004, 12:53:33 AM »

Here is how we started:

Welcome, everyone to the very first meeting of the "OCD Support Group". (Obsessive Clay Disorder)

I am shy, so I walk slowly into the room and find a seat in the back. The meeting begins and there is a room full of claymaniacs. It is very quiet. I raise my hand very slowly. Pamela notices and asks, " Do you have something to share?" My knees are shaking, but I am able to finally get the words out.
"Hi. My name is Woodstock. And I suffer from OCD." The room erupts with applause. I hear so many things around me..."Welcome, Woodstock, what a great step to admit that!" "I do, too..." "We're all with you..."
And I know immediately that I have come to the right place.

We all talk about it, and joke about it, but this can be a serious subject, too. I love Clay, but quite honestly, I have worried about why I spend SO much time listening to him, downloading everything..talking about him on-line , taping EVERY TV show . And more than anything, simply thinking about him night and day. He enters my thoughts in the middle of just about everything! What is going on???
I am a 50-year-old (yikes) wife and mother of three children aged 18, 21 and 23. I have a career and am involved in many things. Then somehow, Clay has entered the picture and I fear he has taken over more of my life than I care to admit.

I realized awhile back that I suffered from OCD. But it was hard to admit to anyone. My 18-year-old son kept telling me that I was obsessed, and after awhile, I began to think he was right. And I spent night and day wondering what was wrong with me. Why are my thoughts going to Clay in the middle of a a school lesson or a church sermon? Why can't I wait to get home and turn on a Clay CD or check out claymaniacs.com to get new info on Clay? If Clay was going to be on a TV station that I didn't get, I HAD to find someone to tape it for me. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind. REALLY!!!

Then I found claymaniacs. It has been wonderful for me to talk to you. The more I got to know you guys, the more I was able to let it all hang out. And what did I learn? I'm NOT the only one. There is something about this guy that grabs you and wraps around your heart, and you're hooked. You are NOT going crazy, I have come to learn after talking to so many of you. I get pms and e-mails from people after I have posted something I couldn't admit anywhere else, and I realize I'm not alone! And it has been a great comfort to me. It took a little while, but I now know that I'm OK. And I feel much better. Now, I am enjoying Clay SO MUCH MORE, because I am not worrying about myself.

Let me make this perfectly clear: I am not over my OCD! I still think about Clay all the time (24/7?) and listen to him sing(OMG) constantly, and download, and chat about him. But I no longer worry that there is something wrong with me. I know I am not alone. There is something so very special about this man. He is the whole package. Because I was able to feel better after admitting things to you guys here, I decided that this is a thread that is needed here. Here is your place to vent. Admit your feelings, or confess something that you have thought or done. It is our hope that by doing that, you will find out that it's OK and you will stop worrying about yourself, and now be able to enjoy Clay even more. I hope this is a place everyone can come back to as needed.

Rules, rules, rules.... Everyone must promise to be kind, respectful, non-judgemental, and supportive. (Easy for claymaniacs.) Again, this is your place to get something off your chest, or just admit your OCD and accept it. So, let the discussions begin!
Just for fun, if you join in the conversation, you then become an official charter member of the OCD Support Group, and can add that to your signature if you wish. I look forward to each and every one of your posts.
Woodstock
P.S. Please feel free to pm me.

And here goes Session 4:

We went on to Session 2, and we moved into a nicer room.  We are of  modest means, but our place is comfortable.  Then we went on to Session 3, and it became evident that we needed some updates.  Not too many changes, just a few updates. And here we are at Session 4.  A few updates, but not too many.

WELCOME IN!!!!!
Welcome to our new meeting room. I was able to rent out the 2nd floor of an older building, but it is in a very nice neighborhood and there is public transportation nearby. (2nd floor because Clay was #2). There is an elevator.

The decorator was able to come in on very short notice. It is modest, but very comfortable. I will find someone to donate the metal chairs to.

All couches and chairs are purple and green vertical stripes (like Clay's shirts), and are very plush with purple passion pillows. There are a few reclining chairs for those of us while we are ailing. In fact, I hired a part-time nurse to check us out. Purple plush carpeting is wall -to-wall. There are cup holders in every chair and couch. We have added several extra rugs under Linda's (CT Loves Clay) and lorraine's chairs because of certain puddle problems they are having. We now have a large supply of  Depends in the bathroom for Linda and lorraine and anyone else that has the need.  (I repeat, you guys are HIGH maintanence!!!!!)
Grammaof6 asked about the bathrooms.  They are tidy, gramma, but not modern, since we are in an older building.  You have to turn the faucet on yourself.  No automatic turn on stuff.  If we have plumbing problems, lorraine will arrange for the plumber to come in, but we will not leave her alone in the bathroom with him. She has a history with plumbers.

There are personal CD players complete with various Clay CDs, but these are in the back of the room and made to be used for an emergency Clay fix. You MUST pay attention during the meetings. But because of good behavior, we will now start to pipe in Clay music in the background.  jj is in charge of piped in music, since she has on the job experience.
We are going to begin dinner meetings a few times a week. We have a state of the art kitchen with all the latest equipment. Pepe is our head chef, with jj and Sasha the assistants. Her and Bocaqueen are the dessert chefs, but they are taking a temporary leave of absence, since they are busy working on the Claymaniacs social event of the year.  They will fill in when needed.  cl4clay has taken over as dessert chef. We have purchased a few new items for the kitchen, as her baking is gourmet caliber.    Claymaniac2000 is in charge of inspecting all menus in case Clay shows up.
Philly is in charge of carry-outs when the cooks are so THUDed out that they cannot fulfill their duties.  She knows where to get the best food for the OCD group.

A blendar is in the kitchen for ANGELA to make mudslides and Boca margaritas. We have a small wine closet and lorraine is in charge of inventory. There is a wine bottle holder on the table in front of her chair.

Off to the side is one small padded room when thudding becomes uncontrollable. We have added an annex, because the THUD room was overcrowded from time to time.  When going to the THUD room, please go all the way back to the annex, or as far back as you can go to allow access for others.  We don't want anyone near the door, as you way get hit in the face by a claymaniac who is over the edge rushing in.  Additional padding has been ordered, but we can only afford to do this once a session, so please try to control yourselves.  You are allowed 10 minutes to get yourself under control. Prissy will play her violin to help calm you. And to avoid confusion when looking for the THUD room, Dudley has provided a picture for the THUD room door.  We have had to add cots.  There have been over-night THUDers.  I, myself, was stuck in there for a week.  Because the summer tour has caused THUDing like never before, we have put in an air conditioner, fans, and a small ice machine for instant cooling down.  And since so many of you have been crashing into the door,  you must check in with Spikee before going into the THUD room.  She has been going there a lot lately, and I think she would be a good one to keep track of who is in there, so we don't lose anyone. Kendall is in charge of taking blood pressure in the THUD room, so we are sure everyone is OK after cellcerts, pictures, concerts, or whatever has sent you into the  THUD room.

There is a small corner office for wordsmith so she can keep better hours and still make it to meetings before everyone has gone home.  wordsmith, you are in charge of this room. I have updated your computer a little, at minimal expense, since you are now doing weekly updates, and need that computer to move along a little quicker.  There are extra desks for all our other writers: Her, Shannon, and Scooter, and now Prissy, Bocaqueen, Monica, and  AC and anyone else who wishes to use a desk to write.  I found one used desk at a used furniture store to add to our room for our new writers and students.   Shannon, Kimmy, Monica, and Scooter may study there also.
One wall of the office houses a small library with all publications Clay has been in. tessie is in charge of keeping that up to date.
There are 2 computers for ILClaymate and houston for making avatars and other such duties. They are are now offering after-meeting seminars.  Avatars and Picture Posting 101.  Houston will also stay after for Computer Terms for Dummies to explain such things as screen caps for those that are not in "the know" (such as Woodstock).  In addition, Prissy and Monica will help with adding color to your posts. They have all been doing a WONDERFUL job.  We have beautiful avies and lots of color.
Two large bulletin boards have been added to the back wall.  They are for Pamela, Claymaniac2000, and Dudley posting new articles; wordsmith for posting her personal articles,  AC for posting up to the minute chart reports, and lorraine and Claymaniac2000 keeping us up to date on how and what to vote for.

We have added some LARGE OCD signs so people will remember where they are, in particular, outthereforclay, who has a difficult time with control. We like when she comes to meetings, and do not want Sundancer to have to escort her back to the BLPT.

On either side of the podium are tables with vases of various yellow flowers. And there stands a purple piggy bank for paying up you 25 cent fined for using th "s" word. ANGELA broke the bank in the other session with all the quarters, so tessie was kind enough to buy us a new one.

Ain't it cute? I am putting Linda in charge of taking attendance, and collecting fines.  She is good at keeping track of everyone, and catching those that have broken rule #5.

There is a small drawer of art supplies so Jan can do court sketches of Glory and any other criminals here. I have added numerous sketching pencils, as the number of criminals has grown tremendously, and that's just ADMITTED criminals.  Lord only knows. I won't mention names.  You and most of the rest of us know who you are. Thank GOD Jan is back.  My stick figures were pathetic, and criminals were getting out left and right! WHEW!!!

Glory is in charge of straightening us out if we should come in with our clothes on backward or any such thing because our mind was so full of Clay, we couldn't do the simple things.

CLAY'SJULIE, Glory, and now Linda will start our meetings off with a little humor.  We all need to loosen up, at times, and they know how to do that for us.

CLAY'SJULIE and lorraine will occassionally have mud-fights, but I have asked them to do it elsewhere.  We will watch the video later. Glory, I know you think you can get in on it, but you are such a tiny thing, I think you better wait your turn, dear.

Since our small chapel did not cause any controversy in Session 3, it will remain.  It is only for those that care to go there.  No one will be shoved in from behind.  But we have had a lot of hardships, and many have wished to pray for others.  So we now have an ecumenical chapel when the spirit moves you.  Bocaqueen I think Clay would think it was appropriate.  Bocaqueen and ANGELA have agreed to be in charge of our prayer list.
We must address the summer concerts, as it is affecting all of us.  If you still don't have tickets, grammaof6 will be glad to check out venues for this.  She is an expert, and can help you with knowing the best way to get tickets, also.  She will put on her gramma wings and hover over any place for you,  and pick out the best seats.  But you will have to pay for your own tickets.  HavinaClayAffair is in charge of conert-encouragement.  She has helped AC to go to a concert, and I know she can be helpful to countless others.

Joe Dresser was unable to advise us, but I think we have advised each other very well.  I think we all know the appropriate concert garb.  Clay shirts, of course!!!  Lord knows what Glory will show up in, but we hope she has read well here.  Bozena and Flaky are in charge of finding the coolest Clay t-shirts, etc, for us to wear.  Bozena, Flaky, Her, and Bocaqueen may already have the coolest t-shirts, but they will keep trying for us!

I will repeat the rules, because we now have 6!!!   At the request of Bocaqueen, we are adding #6:
YOU MUST BE: 1. kind 2. respectful 3. non-judgemental 4. supportive
AND 5. YOU MUST NEVER SAY THE "s" word. (sorry). No need to apologize for thoughts and feelings. 6. No dieting when at OCD meetings.  Period.

And I am going to take it upon myseslf to add a suggestion (one that many people make to me), but not make it a rule.  It is your choice as your time allows.   But I am going to say that if you don't have time PLEASE DON'T FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO KETCHUP!!!  Jump in and say hi, tell us what is up in your Clay world, and have good conversation.  Yes, you may miss someone's post, but we never want being here to be so time-consuming that it causes frustration, family problems, or a cause to drive you away. We have grown so big, and happily so!!!  So, let's just jump in, read one page behind, and enjoy the conversation.  Not a rule!!!!  Just something that has been suggested to me many times...

And our OCD pact: No hard feelings if someone doesn't mention you in their post. We are getting far too big for that to ever be a reality again, but we are blessed by many new friends.

Now, ILClaymate, houston, tessie, Philly, Sasha, Thea, Dudley, Jan, Monica, AC, Moonshot, Shannon, Gramma, and even Woodstock,  and all our other picture posters, I trust you will decorate our green walls. Since our picture collection is now so huge, we will have others help you file them away as they are rotated.  ANGELA will be in charge of the long leg pictures, Her in charge of the freckle pictures, and Woodstock in charge of the tongue pictures.  Dudley is in charge of the rest, and can assign duties as needed.

We are a happy group here.  And we intend to keep it that way.  Every now and then someone pms with me a concern, idea, or observation.  I appreciate and take to heart each and every pm.  I feel we are all equal in this thread, equal partners, but because I started this thread some people come to me, and I am happy to help if I can.  Recently, someone came to me asking me to remind everyone that we are a PG thread, we are "family friendly", as Clay would see it, and we do welcome in friends of all ages.  If the spirit moves you, and you feel your comments may not be within PG, claymaniacs does have a place for this, and it is the Black Leather Pants thread in Got Clay.  Sundancer will be our official escort over there, if she will, as is needed.  It is OK! We all need to go there from time to time.  Philly would escort you also, but that girl already has so many responsibilities, we don't want her to overdo it!  We can't afford to lose her from exhaustion. Thank you for understanding this.  I do not think we have crossed the line, in my opinion, but it does not hurt to bring this subject up as one of concern to some OCDers.

So, WELCOME one and all to Session 4 of the OCD Support Group. I hope you like our new home away from home. Please feel free to add on.

CarolG, STEPHANIE1130, Shaikeninseattle, clayaikenwow, achin'4Aiken, claydevotee, lorilovesgolf, Claymore, Invisible Touch and anyone else new I missed,  please come in, sit down, and find your place in our little home and please let us know what little job you would like to do. If you are very shy, you may sit back and observe. But I hope you will just jump in!

My sincere apologies if I left anyone out. Please let me know!

Now, the room is officially open. Pamela is passing out keys. Please stop by and get yours if you didn't get yours in a previous Session and check in so we know we have everyone. Our flock is not complete without each and every sheep!

Love you all!!!! Thanks for hanging around so much that we had to start Session 4. May the session begin!!!

NUMBER FOUR:

We’ve grown to be so big…one big, happy, caring family. Woodstock had asked for a description of our OCD Meetings—I’m going beyond the furnishings, rooms and décor and I thought a few comments of late from our fellow OCDers that to me, really explains who/what we are all about is most appropriate:

………. I HOPE YOU ALL KNOW I read all your post & drool over all those thud worthy pics. I REALLY THINK EVERYONE HERE ON THE OCD ARE FIRST CLASS GOOD PEOPLE & I AM PROUD TO BE PART OF THIS GROUP
Angela
***

OCD comes in lots of shapes and sizes, focuses and intensities. But I think all of us here can find it has hit their lives, or we wouldn't be here. By sharing it here, we turn it into a good thing. I think it is a very good thing, and I am glad I am afflicted!!!
Woodstock

****

We come from all across the country, and are as diverse as Americans can be. I think there may be a Canadian or two as well. And I count you among some of the best people I ever "met," and trust me, in my line of work, I've met thousands of people.

If someone would have told me a year ago that this fan site would take up a considerable portion of time, I would have been in disbelief. But now, it's as natural as waking up in the morning. (OK, maybe on weekends, the afternoon - I am the night owl with a day job!)

We can express ourselves because there's a level of trust, respect and just plain old-fashioned "love."
But we also come to share our lives, because everyone here is a sympathetic ear. I can't believe how open I've been in this forum -- like a good interview, you forget the tape is recording or the camera is on -- and you just let it all out. Many of us have shared our deepest, darkest thoughts and experiences. And felt the warm embrace of everyone here, all those cyber-hugs and group hugs!!!

And it has given us a bond that is very tight. We pray, we worry, we laugh, we cry --- we come to check on our friends.

I know our families and friends don't get it at all. But you know what, who cares? Because these cyber-friendships are as real and as warm as friendships built at work, at church, at kids' sports and in neighborhoods. Some of us have met in real life, some of us will meet within the next few months. It's no longer faceless people. So we are making a real connection.
all of you are true-blue salt-of-the-earth terrific people.
wordsmith1223
*******

never had a clue what this thread was about originally. i read the introduction on the first page in session one and i didn't see myself having OCD in the traditional sense so i never posted anything.

But i think a ton of people, men/women/boys/girls who call themselves fans of Clay's have some form of OCD whether they admit it or even know it yet. A person who might be curious as to whether they have it or not should ask themselves "do i get an empty feeling if i don't know what he's up to or how well his tour or his music is doing?". "I'm probably the only ClayFan in the world who doesn't have the magazine everyone is talking about?!?!".

You have OCD if you answered yes to any of those questions.

Another important question for some is: "When i leave a Clay concert, do i wake up the next morning depressed that the experience is over and ordinary life seems to dull and ordinary???"

This describes a Clayng-Over or a Clay-Over, whichever way you describe the condition is up to the individual...and of course, having that feeling is a part of OCD.
AC

When I first came on this thread I wasn't sure if I would feel comfortable releasing my feelings to people who I really didn't know. Well let me tell you it didn't take long to realize that I am in the best of company and know that I am really normal with the feelings that I have for Clay. I LITERALLY THOUGHT I WAS LOSING IT. But no longer. I am right at home and I intend to stay here for a long long time. I also have come to ACCEPT that there is no cure. I guess the important thing is the acceptance. Another thing I realize is that I DEPEND on this thread on a daily basis and that is a good thing.
lorraine

The concern yall have shown to me about my college classes means the world to me. I was thinking today, and I have always had my sister but I have never had a real family. Now I feel like I have a real family. I know if I told people they would think I was nuts that people on a website about Clay Aiken was my family. People already think I am strange lol. I always say as long as they are talking about me someone else has the day off lol.
Ilovetowrite (Shannon)

Now onto the decorating, I leave that to:

PHILLY, SASHA, ILCLAYMATE, DUDLEY, TESSIE and WOODSTOCK!!!! Calling all picture hangers….services needed immediately in the OCD Meeting Room!

Hi, everyone! This is Woodstock!   Our dear Her is out of town, and I am posting for her, because she is the one that came up with the idea of posting our feelings about OCD and the OCD Support Group.  We have added a few more for this Session, and would like a lot more.  Her and I have decided that this message will always remain a part of the beginning of each Session, unless someone wants their message deleted.  And we would like to hear more.  If you would like to add what you have to say about OCD or this group, pm me this week until Her gets home, and then she will take over, and we will edit to add your comments.  We thank you for those of you that have shared with us, and look forward to so many more.  Please feel free to express how you feel.  I am sure we all feel very much the same way, and will welcome what you have to say.

Thank you, Her, for letting me post this for you and watch it for you while you are gone.  This was a wonderful idea of yours to include, and we look forward to seeing you when you get back.

Love,
Woodstock :D  :D  :D  :D  and Her!!!!!

Hey Colleen,

I don't know all the differences but I know a few.  I haven't finished reading South Beach yet.  Atkins is more strict.  South Beach allows some more fruit and grains that Atkins doesn't.  I can tell you specifics on Atkins since that is what I'm on and maybe Boca can explain South Beach since she is doing that.  Atkins only allows a max of 20carbs at first then you gradually increase.  You can eat eggs, meat, cheese, lettuce, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli and few others starting out.  As you increase your carbs, then you get to add some different items.  Since your hubby is on it you probably know some about this, right?  I'll let Boca give a brief description of South Beach.

HUBBY????  Why would I want to be with him?  LOL...j/k!!  Wink:   No he is still in bed..he has to get his 10 hrs sleep or whatever!  He worked 18 hours Thursday night so he needs to get caught up on some sleep.  I'm sure he will be DRAGGING me somewhere later!  LOL  He always wants to go places but I'm more of a homebody!

Another pic to decorate these bare walls!  Can never have TOO many!

Woodstock, for space to write poems. Is there a place for me to practice my violin and Monica to practice her flute and 'DRUMS?!"  This is a great thread to be with so many wonderful OCDers!!

Janet, Your friend is in my prayers.  I still hope that somehow you and others can see Clay in concert.

I am COLORING my hair, and I think the color has been on longer that it's supposed to be shock:  so I will say "So long" for now!

I hope everyone is having a great morning!

SESSION 4...I WAS ONE OF THE LAST WHO POSTED ON SESSION 3...FOLLOWED BY PHILLY...NEVER SAW SESSION 4!

I made the comment about the new hair and to me he's making a slight twist on his appearance: that dangling belt! Has he always let it dangle like that??

Woodstock: i read the rules very carefully and saw the big OCD letters upon my entrance. But sometimes people may have blurry vision from time to time and OCD looks like BLP and they have to catch themselves Laughing: it's an honest mistake :D

JAN: I love Burns and Allen too. I was listening to their radio show the other day on NPR's "The Big Broadcast". It was their show and "The Great Gildersleeve" with Harold Peary on that particular episode. On some episodes the show airs "The Shadow" and "The Whistler". but my favorites will always be: Jack Benny, Fred Allen, Fibber McGee & Molly, and The Mel Blanc Fix-It Shop. I wrote a story about steel marbles on the BLP before songbird closed the thread. Philly saw it since she dared me to stop in...i posted on the new BLP thread too but i'll always be here as i've said. i'll occassionally pop in over there as a joke. so you don't have to worry :D

They can't trap me over there! I'd like to see them try Laughing:

Janet: on my satellite dish we have a new network called RFD-TV. Throughout the day they air rural programs and guess what! They also throw in classic country music shows too!!! "Pop! Goes the Country", "The Porter Waggoner Show", "The Wilburn Brothers Show", and "The Country Carnival with Billy Walker". They don't air right after the other. They air sporadically throughout the day. It's fun, for me, looking at all the vintage country shows. Hank Snow was the guest on Porter's show last night! i think the episode was from 1966. Porter's show ran from 1955-1975 but continued in re-runs until 1982!!

I posted this in the ANN and the Charting the Waters threads but the Clay Aiken Biography is sold-out on Amazon...anyone who wanted one has to order it used. The other ClayBook, "Learning to Sing", i was informed my copy would be sent to me in October.

Clay's Butterfly

« Reply #11 on: July 24, 2004, 08:36:24 AM »

I just came back over to tell you guys something. The poll now satnds at Clay 47%, Kelly 52% and there are about 200 people voting this morning because everytime I vote the total count jumps by 200 or more. Of course I don't know how many are Kelly fans and how many are Clay fans because it only shows the total number of votes cast, not the individual votes. Anyway what I wanted to tell you is if anyone from here is voting and if after you hit the vote button you get a "page cannot be displayed message" just hit the back button and it will take you back to the vote page and then you hit "vote" again. It is just that so many are voting to day it gets "log jammed"  sometimes.
I didn't take time to read the new posts. Will do that later.

Oh man, AC, that book is sold out????  Bummer...I will have to keep watching it, I hope they reprint it because I would like to get it!  I just went and ordered Aladdin, Learning to Sing, and Arthur JUST IN CASE!!!  I was going to order the other one at the same time and I kept forgetting to go do it!  Waited too long....hopefully some more will come in.  Thanks for the update.

Janet, thanks for the link.  I'm going to go vote now.  I hope that is CLAY fans voting and not Kelly fans!!  LOL  Wink:   Oh well, atleast they are not Fantasia fans!  LOL Laughing:

CLAY'S FAVORITE COOKIE CHEF

« Reply #15 on: July 24, 2004, 09:19:18 AM »

Well, I miss one day of OCMD and we are on another session.  Woodstock, did you remember to get more cots for the thud room.  I know the girls will be decorating with beautiful pictures of OMC. I can't believe that in about 3 weeks, i'll be seeing Clay.  The cellcerts are nice and I love them, but there's nothing like seeing him in person.  I'm hoping to be able to drop in from time to time today, in between cleaning, ironing and cooking.
Isn't it amazing how OCMD has really gotten to be so much a part of our lives?  Sometimes, if I'm feeling a little down, my first thought is to come over here, with all my new friends and get a boost of love.  Just one more thing that Clay has done for us all.  I know all of you will understand what I am saying.  We can really say what we feel on here and know that we will be understood.
Thanks, Woodstock, for putting up with all of us and I love the new rooms.  Pepe, make a special dinner and I'll think up a scrumptious dessert.

Hi

Just stopped in during lunch break.
Wow, a new pad and I was just getting used to the old one. :)

I have a bone to pick with you Woodstock, NO ART GALLERY. :?

Now what is a gal to do!!!!  I need a special room with pencils and pens and paints. I will even want a model stand so I can do paintings of all the OCDers.
One at a time.
But I promise that I will not make you model in the nude!!! Laughing:  Laughing:

Will willingly share the gallery or workroom with anyone else who is an artist. Photographers are also artists and we can get along just fine together; Dudley, Philly, Angela, etc.

Now if Clay drops in, well, I can dream can't ?????

Thanks Houston for the information on the American Idol tour.
If Diane was going to go solo, I might pack it up and see her in Jacksonville (about 6 hours drive), but I really do not want to see Fantasia or John or any of the others.
I am afraid that i am a Diane DeGarmo fan (as she ducks the tomatos)

Angela (IlClaymate)
Will be waiting for the PM

Gramma
At least we will see each other next month. :)
Every time I check out a date, something happens.
As you know my home life is unpredictable and in the studio I either have my music on soooo loud that I cannot hear the phone, or I have left my cell in the car, or something.
My friends have the same complaint.

Woodstock
Loved your description of our new home. What are we calling it?
The BLP gals call theirs "the Mansion" We could be the "Cottage".
 Maybe the "Therapy Center".

Back to work.

i think cottage is good for the OCD. it describes something intimate, calmer, and smaller than a sprawling mansion which is the BLP.

Jan, I am a Diana fan too  8)    Its ok to be both a Diana and a Clay fan  Wink:

AC, the BLP "mansion" started small too but so many people joined that the home wasnt big enough.  Most rooms are empty nowadays though.  They used to be full.  I like the "therapy center" idea.

CL4Clay, please keep the desserts low-calorie.

Gramma, some of us are your grandkids too so dont forget s, ok ?

Speaking of therapy, I am going away with my husband leaving early in the morning and wont have internet access until friday  shock:   I am already having withdrawals symptoms  :?   But I think that its fair since my hubby is so supportive of my OCD and lets me chat and fly to concerts that I give him at least a week of my undivided attention  8)  So I am leaving my laptop at home  Cry!:

I am very excited.  Prissy, we are going to San Antonio - staying 2 days on the Riverwark, going to Sea World, and the Schlitterbahn (the largest water park in the US) and then we are going to hit the outlet malls in San Marcos on the way back to start some Christmas shopping.

I will miss y'all though  Cry!:   You guys need to PM me if anything eventful goes on with you guys or with Clay.  I have just got to know if he kisses anybody or does any charity events, etc.   Please keep me posted.

I will say goodbye before I leave. I will still be around a while today.
