i think lorraine asked this way back in the first pages. i think that the attendance figures for Clay's shows are great, when you consider his "newness" to the business and the fact that many newcomers often are "opening acts" for bigger acts until the newcomer gains more fame or material. so, everything regarding this tour is so unique that conventional wisdom shouldn't be applied. of course the critics will make it a point to bring up the audience size and what sex made up the crowd and all of that...but what's new?

Now look at that.  See how the rich brown matches the
color of his hair?  See how the deep blue matches the
blue of his shirt?  Sort of?
See how the paisley swirls go round and round...
and round...THUD.  Does anyone have any dramamine?

Clay's Butterfly

« Reply #369 on: July 12, 2004, 08:08:49 PM »

I wish everyone would quit dissing the Paisley Jacket. I love it, and to me it is just one more thing that makes Clay Clay. I am so glad he added Still The One to the set tonight. I really love that song on his demo CD and I know it would sound even better in person.
Well I'm going to try to go to bed and get some sleep tonight. I didn't sleep very good last night.

According to the cellstream, during Solitaire he grabbed his shirt and there was "musculature outline of his chest area."

ETA: Artquest's mom (the elderly lady with the cane who went up onstage) wrote Clay a thank you note for bringing her up on stage and he then sent Jerome out with a vase of three white roses and baby's breath.

POLLSTAR tracks concert information. It helps show interest in Clay if you go there are search for his concert info.  You can also submit a review of one of his concerts!

http://www.pollstar.com/reviews/reviews.cgi?Page=Read&Artist=CLAAIK

Anyone who has been to a concert and enjoyed it should submit a review; no one has done it yet.
