Welcome to another manic Monday!
And may I just say
GOOD JOB PANTHERS!
Yes they did lose the game, but they came to win, they played their hearts out and the
quarterback is cute. What more can you really ask for?
Congrats to all the PATS fans - I know you are happy this morning,
and thanks to Melodie for not rubbing it in. (Yet.)
How about some news!
CELEBRITIES SHINE FOR BEST BUDDIES
By SHELBY HODGE
Quote
Sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton were the first in a long line of celebrities to light up the night at the
Best Buddies International Super Bowl benefit. They initiated the
media gauntlet that lined the entrance
to the expansive Memorial home of John and Becca Cason Thrash.
In the Hiltons' glam wake Friday came The Rock, American Idol's
Clay Aiken,
actress Molly Sims of NBC's Las Vegas, actor Tom Arnold, Bobby
(There's Something About Mary) Farrelly, hair-products guru John Paul DeJoria, the Miami Dolphins'
Ricky Williams, Debbie and Roger Clemens, Ericka and Jeff Bagwell, Boomer Esiason, and more than 500 other partygoers.
Becca Cason Thrash poses with Clay Aiken at the Best Buddies benefit Friday night.

Oh no! Six more weeks of winter predicted! Sir Walter Wally the Raleigh groundhog saw his shadow today.
So sad.

CLAY #2 ON THE MTV TRL SUPER BOWL COUNTDOWN
TRL had a preparty show on CBS before the Super Bowl. They had a countdown going on and only people there in Houston could vote. Clay was #2! "Hey Ya" by Outkast was #1.
Dan Marino said "We all know Clay Aiken is a great singer, but if I had him on my team, what position would would he play?"
A. Kicker
B. Quarterback
C. Tight End
His answer? Kicker, because he's a small guy and he doesn't look too tough.
:
That was a nice surprise to see before the game!

OPERATION VALENTINE
#1 IN OUR HEARTS, #1 ON THE CHARTS!!
IF you are able to buy a copy of MoaM this week, please do so.
It would make a nice Valentine's Day gift for someone....
:
AND if you are not able to, you can still participate in Operation Valentine by helping to promote
Clay's next single, The Way!
The Way goes for radio adds tomorrow, so please make a call-a-day or an email-a-day this
week to your local Pop and/or Adult Contemporary station and ask them to play The Way.
Check the Polling Place thread for a new list of quick links to the national countdown radio
programs and video countdown shows as well.
The video for Invisible is still being played on MMM and YTV in Canada.
Once a day,
Request The Way!
Thanks!

CLAY PLAYS COOL IN HOUSTON
Quote
Aiken was seen playing it very cool at "The End Zone," a high-end charity party at a private home. The $400-a-head event included a midnight breakfast and entertainment by Willie Nelson.
Aiken reportedly was wearing a brown pin-striped suit and sat quietly in a corner of a room away from the live music. He allowed one photo but no questions. Maybe he would have made an exception for a North Carolinian.

I am so glad to see him stick up for himself. He knew the evening was not about him..
I am so glad I got to share the same air as OMC at least for a little while.
Thanks Pamela for all that you do for us.
Love, Terry

I agree, the Panthers did impress me.
However, I am a little disappointed-----------
In Melodie!!!
