Clay Aiken, 2003 American Idol runner-up, cradled his pet dog in his arm, as his returns to his Beverly Hills hotel on Monday (January 19). Clay is obsessed with his dog and never goes anywhere with out him, the pop star has even been known to pay for extra first class tickets so the pooch can join him on flights.

CLAY AIKEN, KELLY CLARKSON ANNOUNCE DATES FOR JOINT TOUR

Kelly Clarkson might want to suggest Clay Aiken perform second on the opening night of their upcoming co-headlining tour.The outing, which will find the "American Idol" stars alternating between the earlier and later slots, opens in Aiken's home state of North Carolina on February 24 in Charlotte. Four dates later, the show hits his stomping grounds of Raleigh.Hitting 30 cities (see "Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson Plan Joint Headlining Tour"), the show will be dubbed the Independent Tour, a nod to both Clarkson's single "Miss Independent" and the singers' growing independence from "American Idol."Midway through the trek, Clarkson will break from Aiken for two nights in her home state of Texas to perform at the Houston and Austin rodeos on March 16 and 17.Aiken, meanwhile, has a couple of high-profile appearances scheduled before the tour. He's performing Wednesday on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and Friday on the drama "Ed." In the latter, Aiken visits Stuckeyville's radio station.  More than likely at least one of the performances will be of his next single, "The Way."

Ruben's video premieres tomorrow on TRL.  On Friday, his video will be able to be voted onto the countdown.  Ruben fans will be rallying to vote him in and here we are, occupied with trying to get concert tickets, planning to watch Clay on Leno, gearing up for Ed, and we can't lose our TRL focus.  There are only five more days to keep Invisible on the chart until it will be retired.

PLEASE take a minute from all the frenzy and place some extra votes for Invisible if you can.  The video was number 3 yesterday, which is still GOOD!, but we must remain persistent and keep the focus!

Wouldn't it be great to retire Invisible at #1!?!
