Pamela, I know Columbus is on the list.  It's about a 2-3 hour drive from Cleveland. It's really not that far.  My problem is my friend that I go to the concerts with can't get off of work in the middle of the week so she can't go with me.  My husband sure won't go and I have nobody else to go with.  I would never go by myself.  I'm just not like that so I guess I'm just out of luck and heartbroken. I guess I should look at the bright side since I did already see Clay twice when some of you never got to see him in concert at all. But somehow it doesn't help the way I feel right now.

By the looks of the concert tour schdule so far, I would probably have to go to the first show in Charlotte.  I imagine it could be hard to get tickets for that show.  Everyone will be anxious to it.  My second concern is the cost of the tickets.  Anyone have any idea of the price range? Sure would love to go to the show in Charlotte, but that sure is a bad time of year (snow!) to plan a road trip!
Here's hoping!

I have been looking at the list of cities on the tour and I am really surprised. Perhaps I don't understand how all of this works.....don't know a lot about it. I would think that a concert is designed to showcase talent that can draw in big numbers of fans ($$) which we know Clay and Kelly will surely do and that optimum exposure (large variety of locations) would also be a consideration. What is totally confusing me, is the fact that places like North Carolina, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington have from 2-3 concerts in their states, whereas others have none. I am wondering what the average size of these venues is. Does availability of suitable venues at specific times also place a role in bookings? I am so disappointed that Toronto is not on the list!!! Does anyone else have any thoughts or views on how/why all of these locations were selected? Do you think that possibly this is a first tour with another second tour in mind later in the year?

I'm a little bewildered too by the schedule.  I thought since Clay got such a good reception and turnout in Cleveland at the Kissmass Concert, that he would have wanted to come back with his tour.

I really hope that Toronto becomes a for sure thing and the Z103.5 announcement wasn't just a tease...I remember when the SARS epidemic swept T.O. Kelly Clarkson cancelled her "tour date".  I hope that there isn't a lingering bad memory keeping them from coming to Toronto.  Or rather, keeping Clay from coming here.

Please keep in mind that this tour is sponsored and planned by an outside entity, AEG.  Clay probably requested his NC stops and Kelly her TX stops, but otherwise I doubt either of them had much say in where they will be performing.  It's unfortunate, but it's also subject to change.  I sincerely hope that everyone who want to go to a concert gets to go!

I still wonder why the Toronto radio station would have mentioned a stop there without some kind of information....maybe that stop will be added at a later date, and we'll keep our fingers crossed for Cleveland as well!

Thanks Pamela for your words of hope - as your suggestion I emailed 103.5 in Toronto last night to see if they could help us understand or explain their announcement about the tour. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon. I'll try phoning them today at their offices to see if I can actually talk to someone about it - don't know if it will help but at least we might get some answers - I'll post when I know anything.
But you're right Pam - let's not give up hope - you never know maybe Toronto will still be added somehow!

Claylady I feel for you....luckily my friend is collecting unemployment right now so i don't have to beg my husband to go...lol....not that it is good that she is out of a job :o I was also bummed that he isn't playing anywhere in NY state...it is quite a long drive to Long island for us...and hectic too....i know that they probably didn't have a say in it....but i guess i will have to drive the 4 hours to PA. Does anyone know when the venues will have him listed....i know a couple on the list don't have him there yet?

Just wanted to let you all know that I have hope again.
My friend that I go to concerts with really wants to go.  She might be able to get a half day off the day of the concert to drive to Columbus but then we'd have to drive home that same night.  We'll see.
Also I received a wonderful offer from a dear person in this forum, caramel131.  I could go to the concert with her and her sister who are close to my area.  Either way I'm feeling much better knowing that I might get to see Clay.  Now I have to worry about getting tickets.  I'm a nervous wreck but a happier one than I was.
Who knows what God's plan is but I hope he'll smile down on me.

Well, I'm just glad Clay is coming to Massachusetts. Not Boston, but Worchester is close enough to Boston, I think. Laughing: Anyways, I feel sorry for all those who won't be seeing Clay come to their cities. But Clay is brand new in the biz, this is his second tour. No doubt this won't be his last!
