Yes, MAKE...not MADE. There's still stills runnin! Laughing Laughing

I might take ma back & visit the family now....& show Joey too. He'd get a kick outta the place. It's BEAUTIFUL...but there's NOTHING there! One road kinda thing. We drove through a few years ago & ma said..."this is downtown"...I said..."where?"  Laughing We were on a road....had a gas station(with the old pumps!) and then further on down the road was a Fritzee Freeze. THAT was downtown!?? Heard they got a McDonalds now though...that'd be kinda funny to see. Wonder if it's on the main "downtown" road or stuck up a holler!?? lmao lmao

What a treat to see the joyful time Mom had Huggles the day yesterday was sunny and warm, we went to the falls, then hit the casino for a few hours, then had a wonderful dinner. Shirley the buffet was incredible shock couldn't believe the choices Had salad bar which was HUGE also included sushi , sweet potato soup too! I settled for a piece of bbq'd chicken, grilled whitefish, a zucchini and eggplant combo, roast potatoes and soft serve choco/vanilla icecream with skor bits and butterscotch sauce Thud!
Mom and I watched Idol while my sis returned to the casino to win $150 Clapping When Mom woke up this morning we dog piled the bed she laughed so hard  Laughing kind of foggy drive home, and we will go again in the fall~~it was all about Mom, and she just was so grateful Huggles

Anyone know how to find a marriage certificate from 1965? If none of your parents remember where they was married!??

Stating the obvious here, but have you been looking on the internet, Kim? Have you called the state office where they keep those documents? Have you looked under her mattress?

Did tou all see Clay's interview with WRAL? Gosh I hear his voive and turn to mush, even if he is just talking faint

Make that two of us!!!   Thud!   Can't believe what I've been reading about the rehearsal. My two CDs have been pre-ordered. Haven't been able to read/hear his interviews yet. Have to go to the hospital parking lot to watch or d/l.

Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

OMG....Clay was so awesome tonight!!!!  Thud!  I can't remember a darn thing right now so you guys will have to find out the intricate details from someone who had the sense to write it all down.  All I can remember is this unbelievable explosive ending on Unchained Melody!  WOW!   He looked wonderful and sounded wonderful!!  I saw Tiffany, Barbara, Marlene, Sunny and Michelle from Claymaniacs at the show.  It was so good to hear Clay's voice again!  He came into the audience to talk to a woman who took a 36 hour 4 bus trip from Nebraska all by herself to come to the show.  She said she did it because she loves him.  He told her his mama loves him too but would never drive that far for him. The woman was about 3 - 4 feet away from us.  I think Danielle and I might have had to pick our mouths up from the floor.  He was so close we were counting freckles. I hope you can't see us in the camera... Laughing  His hair was back to reddish brown with a Sunday-school part, not short, not long. He was wearing what appeared to be an all leather dark suit but I don't think it was really leather. It looked soft like velvet. He had on a white shirt and a pale purple tie.   He was busting on how he always wanted to sing the Neil Sedaka song that Reuben sang and now he could finally sing it and that his version was better than Reuben's anway.  He sang the first word and Reuben came out on stage and sang the song...can't remember right now what it was.  Reuben, Clay and Quina sang a medley of newer songs and the tunes were changed to sound like they would have in the 60's.  Sharon....he did some driving for you!  He also sang Buttercup.  A couple from So You Think You Can Dance came out and did a samba to some samba song Clay sang.  He spoke about how teachers impact our lives and asked everyone that taught him between 2nd and 12th grade to stand up.  At least 10-12 of his teachers were there.  Gosh...my head is spinning and I can't think of any more of the songs right now.  Oh yeah....He opened with Mack the Knife and closed with Moon River.  I was surprised at how many of the songs I never heard before.  Several people were writing down song lists so I'm sure they will be posted before morning.  Oh Kim....your bendy Reed was there too!  Whose Sorry Now....that was another one.  They will be popping in my head all night as I come back down to earth... Laughing

Well....I will catch back up with you all tomorrow and type up anything else I can remember.
