Good morning everybody 

Dave comes home from Florida today.  First the kids have school, then Diana has gymnastics/ballet, then it's dinner, and then I pick him up. 

I was beyond excited for Dave's parents last night.  Where he's at in Florida is not too far from where his parents are at.  He even drove through their city twice....so, they decided to get together.  Dave, the person who acts like his parents raised him to be so independent that he doesn't need them or want to talk or spend time with them, actually went to their house yesterday and was able to spend time with them  .  Oh, and his parents' best friends only live 2 houses down from them, so Dave was able to see them too!  .  They (parents and friends) spent so much time together when Dave and his sisters were growing up that Dave and his sisters actually refer to his parents friends as Aunt and Uncle even though they aren't related at all. 

I know that this just made Dave's mom sooo happy to see Dave.  Now Dave is REALLY trying to find a way for me and the kids to be down their over Easter.  I just don't see how we can do it though.  We just simply don't have $1200 extra dollars.  Maybe I can get three of Kim's bird friends to fly up to MI and then fly us back down to FL    .

  Now Dave is REALLY trying to find a way for me and the kids to be down their over Easter.  I just don't see how we can do it though.  We just simply don't have $1200 extra dollars.  Maybe I can get three of Kim's bird friends to fly up to MI and then fly us back down to FL    .

SHARON, was just reading all the posts and see you are taking a little trip today with sis and mom.  How wonderful !!!  I am so excited for  the three of you.  What a marvelous time you all will have.  I so wish I was part of your family and lived near by so I could enjoy such wonderful companionship.   You are always planning something of interest either good food or nice side trips.  I can hardly wait to hear about the trip and the food when you get home.

Well this is my least favorite Idol season.  No big deal if I miss it or not.  They keep screwing with the time and never know when it is on 8:00 or 9:00.  I have settled on two to watch the others I don't care about in the least.  I like Alex for the guys and Siobhan for the girls.  I think a good singer can sing anything and these two can.  Actually Simon seems like the only sane one there this year.  Randy offers nothing at all, Ellen is pretty good, Kara is a sicko and Simon is pretty normal this year.

BETH, if I had the money I would buy your airfare as you deserve a little vacation too.  Dave sounds like three of my kids  and believe me I didn't raise them to be so independant they couldn't spend time with us.  I doubt if his mother did either.  They sure can cause moms a lot of heartache with their attitudes.

Hope you have wonderful weather, and everyone wins something!!  I wonder if the falls are partially frozen?  We went once around this time of the year, and it was so pretty, partially frozen!

Sorry you're not sleeping well, I guess it's to be expected right now with so much turmoil going on in your life.  David and I have been having trouble sleeping too; I've been averaging around 5 hours of sleep every night.  L'il Jamal wants me to get up at 5:30am no matter what time we hit the sheets!   And the l'il guy naps all day long then, while I can't do that; too much to do. 

Beth, glad your hubby is reconnecting with his family!  We try to visit our parents around once a month.  That doesn't seem like much, but they're both about 80 miles away from us.   We both feel pretty close to our parents, but I'm terrible about calling (so is my mom so I guess I learned it from her??)

I took our tax stuff down to the accountants at closing time, 5 pm Monday.  Whew!  Good to have that done!
Then next day I got a letter, my Unemployment Tax Audit has been scheduled for April 7.  Aaargh.  Should be nothing to worry about, we are definitely in compliance, it's just stressful having this guy in my house, and asking for stuff I have to go find.  And he'll be here the whole day (this happened to us back in the 1990's too).  It's funny, they only found that we owed them an additional $13 back then.  Do they really think it's worth it to audit us again??

Kim, this Big Mike thing reminds me of Season 2, when they pimped Ruben.  Didn't think he was "all that," either, and look where his career went after he won. 

Last week, Lee was the guy they said had the best male voice by a mile.   Hope people remembered that and voted for him.   I think Casey played it a little too safe last night too. 

They make the big deal about the Top 12, but really it's the Top 10 that's important; you get paid to tour then!

Shirley, I like your two favorites a lot, too!  Nobody really has the stage presence that Adam had last year.  The only other season I remember someone with a lot of stage presence was Bo Bice.  Starting with "Spinning Wheel," I was riveted all season!

Fitting that Simon's last year on Idol is a dud, then he can really pimp X Factor, pitting it against Idol.
Never thought I'd see Kara really getting snuggly with Simon, and then crying like an idiot.  What did she say about being a woman and not a mother get pregnant then honey you are of age
Well I'm off to get Mom, need to drop the doggie at the vet's for her, Holly is staying there, also going to the cemetery with roses for my guys, Saturday will be two years since Al passed I also got solar lights for them so they don't have to be in the dark at night

Sharon...   I know how you feel, March 8 was my dad's 8th anniversary of his death.  You know there are still days where I can just cry like a waterfall missing my dad so much. But, I have to live on and remember how he was. He wouldn't me to cry on. He want me to remember him and celebrate his life.

First of all......... Kim     So sorry about your Granny. You, Betty, and Granny had a really fun and loving relationship. Good memories for sure.

My computer's been wacky and I've been feuding with Norton. 

AND........MEESA.........I will be thinking of you Saturday and picturing you and Joe in my mind knowing how very happy you both are. Looking forward to photos when you can.

Got to go. Too much to do and not enough time to do it all. Fortunately, my kid have been calling and fortifying me.
