Just leaving work.   I've got a head cold and a tickling cough . . . ANNOYING!

It is foggy and rainy out . . .but I'm on my way to a short meeting regarding my high school class reunion this summer.  We just need to update a few addresses, etc.  We sent out postcards to each class member just before Christmas to tell them to circle July 24th. 

I want to be home before IDOL.  It is an hour later tonight, so I think I'll make it. 

I read back a bit on our thread . . . and I seem to like the same gals that you people like.  Lily was disappointing last night.   Hope a few of the guys "shine" tonight. 

MARY - Glad you are doing better.  Loved hearing about the meatloaf. 

SHIRLEY - Don't you ever stop posting here.  Gentle hugs . . . .

I finally saw the girls today, and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed Lacey last night!  Perfect song choice made a big difference!    Didi also did a great job, along with Crystal and Siobhan.  YAY!! 
Still not into Lilly, and Katelyn disappointed after doing so well last week.
I think you called them right when you said Katie and Paige could be leaving tomorrow.

Is anyone coming over to watch with you tonight, Sharon?  

Barbara, hope you get a good night's sleep tonight!  Colds are no fun, and they seem to drag on and on.  Hope you make it home by 9:00!

So tomorrow my sister and I are taking Mom to Niagara Falls for an overnight Judy got a fallsview room, and we'll have some fun in the casino.  We'll have the wonderful dinner buffet, Shirley you'd love it, everything you could dream of to try   We're leaving around lunch time, so I have egg salad packed for the road

Karen, Lacey is so attractive also, beautiful eyes, and love that red hair, suits her!!! You know I haven't really gotten a guy fave, maybe Alex.  I liked Andrew but he has been disappointing.  Lee Dewyze guy is good too.  I hope they stop with the Kara being a cougar with Casey let him sing, don't keep reminding us that you have the hots for him.

Hello Barbara Ann I really like Alex, his voice has some je ne sais quoi I think Kara was touched by big Mike, whaddya think Love that song, he was just alright for me singing it I think Andrew and Todrick need to go.
Why is it this year that most of them sound the same or something, boys and girls so many quirky voices

Sharon - I so agree with you - They all just   sound so-so. Nothing spectacular as far as I'm concerned.

BTW - Hope you and your Mom have a great time and win lots of money.

Kim - First - I truly, truly admire you and your mom and the care and love you gave your grandma. I'm sure she was so glad you were there with her right to the end. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I know your granny loved you and your mom taking such great care of her. How lucky she was and how lucky you both were to have her in your life.

Next - Kim - you had me laughing because our whole family says "ant" not "aint". I wonder why that is. I know it's aunt with an "ah" sound in the beginning , but we've never said anything but "ant".  You are certainly one in a million. No wonder we all love you so much.

Shirley - Honey we love you so much. You will never know how much. I guess that's why we are always saying to try this or that. We would miss you terribly if you didn't post and if you didn't tell us how you were, we would worry so much, we'd probably have to fly up just to see if you were OK. So, you'd better keep us posted.

Mary - I'm praying your throat gets better soon. Must be a horrible feeling to always feel as though something is stuck in your throat. What has the dr. said? Keep us posted.

What the heck??  Simon thought Michael Lynche's performance was the BEST EVER on the Idol stage???  Ellen said HE'S now the one to beat??   Kara's crying, she's so moved?  Honestly, I walked out in the middle to do something cuz I was bored.  I thought he was better last week.  They sure did pimp him tonight.

Sharon, I'm not fond of Andrew either.  And as much as I wanted to see Todrick do something great, he picked a song that seemed wrong for him again.  I don't honestly know who will leave the guys tomorrow.  I didn't think Tim Urban would last, but he keeps getting better!
The judges are also really pushing the young kid; he started out awful, way off-key.  Justin even turned the sound off in the computer room after the first 10 or 15 seconds (one of our monitors is also a little TV receiver).  And yet he got lots of praise from the judges.

Mary, could it be when you had the tube down your throat during surgery, that it caused swelling?  Seems like the swelling should be going down by now!!

I agree about Lacey, Sharon, she is a very striking girl!  Kara has backed off from the cougar thing, it seems.   I agreed with Simon about Casey tonight; that the first week was Casey's best week, this was second best.

Miss Lucy LuLu is healing quite nicely!  She will get her stitches out either Friday or Monday.   How 'bout your kitties, has the fur been flying much lately?

OMG that was a bunch of hooey! I got up after a few seconds of it to do dishes! Kara CRIED!?? Oh COME ON!!!!!!

I like Casey but he is playing it way too safe I think. Maybe my problem is that after LAST year's Idol...and Adam knockin our socks off every week...it was so fun to watch just to see what he'd do. Now they are all singin the same kinda stuff...nothing has that WOW factor. so it's kinda boring to me. The boys are more boring than the girls though.

Well I'm still up at the crack, but I went to bed earlier so at least I got a little bit of sleep. Yesterday I ran on maybe 3 hours sleep total so I was a blathering idiot all day.
