As everyone knows by now, The Bubel Aiken Foundation is now the National Inclusion Project. I am posting this link again, because tickets for the 2009 Gala will be sold from this page next Tuesday - this will be a good link to bookmark, if you are planning on attending!

It's good to see all of the Clay sites and Blogs talking about the Foundation name change - Generation Clay is showing this You Tube video:

Clay is NOT in any of the current Idol news items on this site - but this is also a good site to bookmark, because they keep up with all of the Idol News. When Clay does return to his career, I know there will be coverage here. (And if you are an Idol fan as well as a Clay fan, there are several interesting articles at this time).

Click on this link to hear Clay read the Childrens' book "Arthur's Computer Disaster". You can also purchase the individual track or the album here. (A few years back I bought a copy of Clay reading "The Ugly Duckling" - the grandchildren loved it!)

I know the ClayNation will be buzzing about Parker's first birthday on Saturday ( sweet baby - we know you mean everything to your Dad!) This is one of my favorite interviews with Clay after Parker's birth (it is the "He Owns Us" interview). I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it again:

A Clay mention in an article written by someone who attended the Idol 8 Tour this week:

Quote
Clay Aiken and Fantasia Barrino went from the American Idol stage to Broadway and Adam Lambert went from Broadway to American Idol and who – as second runner-up who is not tied down by the AI branding machine after the summer tour – will write his own ticket to fame and fortune

Clay is even mentioned in this article about a local dance team performing at the Orange Bowl.

Quote
In years past, the Orange Bowl halftime show has featured some of the world’s top talented musicians including Jessica and Ashley Simpson, American Idol sensations Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Hicks and Clay Aiken and the legendary Patti LaBelle.

Huggles Johanna - glad you enjoyed the articles.

Not a very good WRAL Horoscope for Clay today, but I am posting it anyway!  Laughing

Hello, Frankie and ANN!  wave

As you mentioned, several Clay bloggers are featuring the National Inclusion Project. They are listed or linked at the end of the Carolina blog, which also includes information about the Gala benefit and honorees.

Have a great weekend, all!
