Good morning!

Nice article about Quiana with a Clay mention:

Quiana Parler gets groovy at Voodoo
Charleston City Paper

Quote
West Ashley's Voodoo Tiki Bar and Lounge concludes its summer jazz series with Parler and her band this Tuesday. An independent entertainer with an easy-going demeanor and great command of each tune, Parler is perhaps best known in town for her American Idol audition, as well as her recent work with Clay Aiken as a backup singer.

WRAL Horoscope for today:

Quote
Sagittarius - Wednesday, Aug 5, 2009
("the Archer", Nov 23 - Dec 21)

Sagittarius

Sudden insight may come to you as the Full Moon, the third eclipse in this
cycle, stimulates disruptive Uranus; it's one of those days when things get
erratic. Be careful not to step on toes or blurt out something that others
are not ready to hear. You may find yourself at odds with your in-laws or
other relatives at a distance. Keep your foot out of your mouth.

Frankie
I worked part time in a bar for 21 years. We just dreaded
when there was a full moon. Everyone was out that night
and they were out to get drunk. They were loud, started
fights and would order drinks 10 at a time. I think they
thought it was their job to drive us crazy But they tipped
good. Believe me we earned eveyone of those tips.  Laughing Laughing
And without fail it would happen every full moon.

Carol - you are right about the full moon - working in medical offices, we always knew that we would be very busy during that time!

Betty -  Huggles would our Clay ever say anything that would get him into trouble?  Laughing

Aaron Hall has sent out the O-fficial announcement - The Bubel Aiken Foundation is no more - here is a link to the "National Inclusion Project" - with information direct from Clay:

Thanks for posting the news, Frankie. I spent the day in a court house with no internet access! Laughing

From Broadway World:

WING Returns to Birdland 10/25, 10/26

Quote
With millions of fans worldwide, she has taken the globe by storm. Wing has been compared to Florence Foster Jenkins, who raised alternative singing into an art form. Before "American Idol" even hit the air, Wing was already a worldwide phenomenon, outshining the success of "Idol" star William Hung and putting Clay Aiken to shame with her eighteen hit CDs.

Whatever the heck that's supposed to mean. Read the entire article by clicking here.

From Metro Spirit: Augusta's Independent Voice

Quote
AUGUSTA, GA - Remember when Clay Aiken auditioned for “American Idol” for the first time?  As soon as he opened his mouth, you looked around for the culprit who was providing his voice, because surely it couldn’t have been his own. Well, in the instance of Trevor Hall, as soon as you hear his tenor float through the air, you’ll immediately be hit with the reggae and soul vibes.
