Hi...

The past 24 hours for me was like this.... 

Me at Atlantic City  Last night around 10:30 P.M.  Purple Banana   Won 200 Dollars..

Me at Atlantic City around 2:00 A.M.  sad Cry!

I was up all night sick.. Yep!  I got the stomach flu that my neighboor has been expericing. My mom was sick for 2 days. Guess who got it.. Yep me when I was suppose to go the American Idol Concert at Atlantic City tonight..

We left early,  as soon as we got home I slept for 1 hour and  just slept again, I just got up.  At least the Borgata was very understanding I wasn't charge for today's stay. I had complimentary stay for Thursday night. A Comp night.

While I was sick this morning Mr. Philly actually took pictures from our room.  We had beautiful view.   I'll post them later. May need a another nap..

Phillygirl... So sorry you're not feeling well and had to miss the AI concert.  I know how much you were looking forward to it.    So how's your tummy doing this morning?  Don't laugh... but if you have fennel seeds in the pantry.... you can steep them in hot water and make a tea.  It actually tastes good with a little honey and is very settling for all types of stomach ailments.  One of my grandma's remedys that really work.   

Tammy... Hard to believe we were all together for your b-day only a short year ago.  I miss you so much.   Huggles  So how was the Rev's game?  Did the boys have any other surprises for you?   Wink

Yup.  It's Parker's birthday today. dancing party  If anyone's interested, there's also a b-day thread at the OFC.  I'm sure Clay will take a peep after all the festivities are over and naturally, it's been requested to not post any pics of his son there.  Paranoid

Now this isn't a rant, but I am gonna vent just a little bit.  Though I understand the privacy issues Clay has with Tweeter (and all of it's inaccuracies that are taken as silly truths) on the official fan site I don't understand his objection to pics of Parker that are already out on the internet.  Afterall, Clay is the one who put his son in full living color on the cover of PEOPLE and that was seen by the world. HELLO.  So what's the big deal with the more recent adorable photos that the fans all love  shrug 

And if someone wants to create a cute blend (like the one above) or a special b-day card for Parker, I'm sorry... but I don't feel that is being disrespectful to Clay.

Obviously Clay can not live in a vacuum.  As Parker gets older, I'm sure they'll do more together as a family and photos will be taken out in the real world.  All celebrities go through this and though it may be a nuisance at times, it also shows public interest.  It's simply the price you pay for fame and unfortunately, you can't have it both ways.  JMHO.   chair
