The past couple of days at work have been kind of tense, in that I had to sort of reprimand a co-worker and also have a discussion with my co-director. Also when David picked up Jakey the other day, the staff ignored him and didn;t even notice that Jakey had left. So I talked w/ my co-director about this. I realize I work with kids but must I have staff that also act childish!

I feel your pain and am sorry you've had to go through this nonsense.   Huggles  Though we expect our co-workers to act in an adult, professional fashion so often it's not the case.  I have far too many engineers who treat me like a 'personal' assistant and then get PO'd when I have to reject jobs based on our company's criteria and procedures.  I don't make the rules.  I only enforce them and I always try to be respectful.

It takes a thick skin to NOT take this stuff personally sometimes.... but I hope you're ignoring all the BS and holding your head up high.  Confidence overcomes ignorance.  That's what my grandfather always told me and he was a very wise man.   Yes!

One last thought before I have dinner with hubby and watch a movie...

Yesterday was exactly 2 years when Philly and Gwenn had their M&G with Clay!!!!!!!!!!!

I will ALWAYS remember the excitement of that day with so many dear friends and Terry's beautiful, smiling face when she finally GOT to meet B/F up close and OHHHHHHHH so personal.   Thud!  Thud!  Thud!   

Those memories will last a lifetime and it couldn't have happened to a more wonderful nor deserving person!!!!!!!!

Morning ladies  wave

It's a beautiful day in NY, unfortunately I have a hot date with Woolight rug cleaner and won't be enjoying much sunshine.   Cry!  When we had our hot water heater replaced a month ago, the plumber had 3 guys roaming around my house and even though they laid cardboard on the rugs/ walkways they still made a mess of my stairs and other assorted areas.  Could it be that hubby took them on an unrelated tour and had questions about our washer/dryer hook-up in another part of the house.  Sh*t!!!  I should have made ALL of them take off their work boots and go bare foot.      

Oh well.  Life goes on and my D/H is willing to help.  If I scrub, he'll vacuum.... little does he know, I'm moving furniture while he's reading the newspaper out on the deck.  Wink  If we're gonna vacuum, it might as well be the entire downstairs.   ROFLMAO  ROFLMAO  ROFLMAO



Hey Tammygirl.... rem. this one from our concert in Philly?!   Thud!  Thud!  Thud!  Hopefully, we'll have more oppotunities to get you "touched" in the future.  I won't rest until we do!!!!!
