 wave to my dear AI "Buds"   wave"  I'mt feeling a little sentimental tonight.  These AI nights got me through a lot of  dreary and depressing cold, dark winter nights.  And now the sun is shining outside, but there's nowhere I'd rather be than with all of you!

Randy: It was a little bit light for me for this competition.

Kara: You've been true to yourself from day 1. I like this socially-conscious song that Simon Fuller picked for you because you can make it work and make people change!

Paula: You tore that song up and made Marvin Gaye proud!

Simon: It was like 3 friends in their bedroom, strumming along to Marvin Gaye; too laid back.

Yeah, I've wondered about the inherent biases in having a producer pick a song for the two finalists. Or assigning them a song that someone wrote. There's a lot of room for loading the dice there, ya know?
