What Ryan said was:

That said, I still think Adam was in the top 2 vote-getters and the PTB just wanted


When Ryan put him in that group he just said "you're over here". He didn't say "you're in the bottom three" or "you received on of the three lowest votes".

Wow - for a minute there I thought there was going to be another Chris Daughtry. But everyone is right - they never said Adam was in the bottom 3. Idol is so much more fun to watch when you don't really care who wins!  (But I'm thinking that if Allison has a CD, I will actually have to go out and buy it!)

Most weeks, Ryan doesn't say, "You're our second-lowest vote-getter." However, tonight when he was talking to Jamie Foxx, he did indicate Adam and Matt and say, "These are our bottom 2."

Me too Sharon - I really believe it was staged just for shock and awe. I hate when they do that.
