I am not at all worried. Adam will sell CDs & more CDs and more CDs. He will out sell Kris Allen & as for out performing him - well, that's a snap.

I feel Adam would have been a much better ambassador for Idol also, he's so articulate, and has a confidence but not full of himself.  He was genuinely happy for Kris, you could tell, and I think Kris really thought Adam deserved it.

It will be OK.  ADAM's career is ALREADY on the way to success!  He is a star!  I was sure that he woud come in first.  ADAM gave American Idol a needed boost! Huggles

He stole the show tonight and he will knock 'em dead on the AI tour. 

I was shocked by the results, but I don't feel nauseated.  Kris sure seems like a nice guy and I wish him well!

I'm not worried about Adam.  You know...when he was singing with Queen, I was thinking...hmmm...the only guy I've ever heard who could replace Freddie Mercury!  Anyway, at least he doesn't have to sing that crappy "Boundary" song.  Ugh...poor Kris.  Laughing

I'm gonna see if I can transfer the whole show to a DVD tomorrow...or maybe the next day.  I've got it on my DVR right now.

Hate to tell you guys this, but if you think Clay was successful as #2, he's done nothing compared to what Adam will do.  At least we won't all have to buy 10 of Adam's CD's to help him make a splash.  He'll have plenty of people scrambling to get his CD.

And...btw...even though I said I wouldn't vote, I voted from 12:00 straight through until they shut off the lines.  Before that, I only got thru 3 times.  After midnight, I got through EVERY TIME.  Another one of those Idol phone things is my guess.
