I felt that way since the beginning.  I always thought he was over-rated.

MARILYN - I find Adam already a star.  Having said that, I totally agree that his vast professional experience puts him at a definite advantage . . . even tho' some of the others have had CD's, etc.  I think the producers of AI are the only ones who can set limitations and/or guidelines to define who represents "raw talent" vs. professionals.  I think the future of AI is at stake.

Anoop is just average

Adam is the showman but his voice is not remarkable. I do like him, but he does not ring my chimes

Danny is okay but not spectacular

Paula - from the opening of the performance I wasn't sure that the key should have been lowered; your magic is in the timbre of your voice; somethingsomething; beautiful

Simon -disappointed that we had a very traditional version of the song, a bit bored; having said that I think this song means a lot to you personally and it was hard to do so I congratulate you for that

Marilyn -- I agree very much with your opinion but I think AI stopped being a show for young, undiscovered talent a few years back.

Actually, I didn't. I know he dances; I've seen some of his vids on the 'net. But this time, I was watching him work the stage, as well as how he sang. shrug

 Clapping Well-stated, WISC BARB!   I wonder if they'll finally get back to their "roots" next year.  This year with Adam dominating the show  it's obvious that experience and lots of stage/recording experience have given him a huge advantage.  But he wouldn't have gotten all that experience if he weren't a phenomenally talented performer, so if he's the best why not let him be catapulted into superstardom via American Idol?

I guess the judges are feeling bad about dissing Lil so much lately. They're probably worried she'll get voted off and they'll be left with only one female contestant. To make it up to her they gave her the primo (technically ultima) spot tonight.
