Anyway, I can get Kara saying she shouldn't have to yell because she's an effortless singer. But I thought she did pretty dang well!

Adam Lambert - Tracks of My Tears - Smokey Robinson


Wow. Definitely slowed things down a bit from his usual! Nice suit too. And a standing O from Smokey himself who wrote the song!


Randy -from day one when I saw you, this guy has the range; you're not only just a cool indie rocker; you sang so tenderly using your falsetto and everything that's in your arsenal

Kara - one of the best performances of the night.

Paula -someone comes along who is completely in their own league; you look very handsome and classy; you give an element of surprise but its just an extension of who you are as an artist

Simon - THE best performance of the night; summed up everything we've been saying about originality, song choice, etc; you tonight have emerged as a star; congratulations

To me Danny sounds a lot like a young Michael McDonald.  I love the huskiness in his voice.  He exudes masculinity in his performances.  But he has to lose the glasses!!!

Danny Gokey - Get Ready - The Temptations

he shouldn't try to dance  Paranoid The vocals were pretty good though. The interaction with the backups is different and new.


Randy - reminds me of Levi Stubbs; great performance, not your best but I loved the energy and feeling

Kara - not great but a good performance

Paula -undeniable, identifiable, first class performance every week

Simon - we know you're a good singer but I thought that was clumsy and amateurish

It's easy to forget she's only 16. I think she missed a few words in there somewhere.


Randy -you might be 16 but you're one of the dopest singers this season

Kara - America you gotta vote for her; you sing like you been singing for 400 years, that is from God you can't teach that

Paula - look fantastic; kept your rocker edge; awesome; belong in the competition

Simon - you are a survivor; terrible week last week; very difficult song to do and one of your best performances
