Okay, now I know Simon doesn't know what he's talking about. He thought Alexis sounded like Dolly Parton when she sang that song.

Um, no.

I have a feeling that what we have so far heard from Scott is about all we will be hearing in the future.  He is a good balladeer, but I believe he is very limited as a performer.  And please understand it is not because he is disabled; I truly respect and admire him for what he has accomplished in spite of so many obstacles.   I think he has had led a very sheltered life, which possibly is reflected in his lack of pizzazz in his performances.

I think everyone is afraid to say anything bad about Scott because he's blind. I also think his blindness may be what has gotten him this far in the competition.

Really, what the heck is bugging Simon tonight? He's being worse than usual.

SUNNY, I really think he's behaving like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way this time.  I'm sure he's been lobbying the producers to eliminate "Country Music Night" and they have obviously turned a deaf ear on him.  I have a feeling he's used to getting his way 99% of the time.   Very annoying.

I agree 100% SUNNY.  Of course, it's understandable , especially in this age of "Political Correctness".

Danny Gokey - Jesus Take the Wheel - Carrie Underwood

better than I thought it would be. Not spectacular but not bad.

Randy - verses need more support, the rest of the song were blazing

Kira - front half not spectacular; half way through you came out, wish I had 10 minutes of that instead of the other; pick songs in that range

Paula - love when artists build a story and then a bunch of love  blubbering whatevers

Simon -only problem is what you're wearing; looks like you're going on a polar expedition

I thought Danny was okay. Not surprised at his song choice.

Anoop DesaiYou're Always On My Mind - Anoop Desai

Randy - this is the reason we really wanted you in this competition; you really showed your vocal skills; really liked the arrangement, it was dope

Kira - very hard to take a classic, untouchable almost, and do what you did; perhaps the best performance of the night

Paula - Anoop is back; so proud of you for picking a song allowing you to show your interpretation of it

Simon -just went from zero to Hero; good choice of song; one of my favorite performances of the whole night; good of you for taking a thoroughly deserved kicking last week, doing something about it and proving you deserve to be here.

SUNNY, IMO the only thing that is holding Danny back is his bland appearance.  I'm so hoping a full makeover a la Clay Aiken is in the works for him.

ROFLMAO  Watch it, SUNNY!  If I didn't get my own eyebrows plucked and waxed routinely, mine would look a lot like Anoop's.  Any my older son is almost a dead ringer for Anoop!   Laughing

I've always loved this song but her voice was not quite powerful enough for it IMO

I think so, WISC BARB.  But considering her health problems this week, I agree with the judges that she overcome them quite well.

Megan Joy Corkrey - Walkin' After Midnight - Patsy Cline

Randy - thought it was going to be a train wreck but I was impressed; rocky bluesy, jazzy, country; perfect choice

Kira - perfect song; perfect look; you're a winner, not a lot of people with the flu could get up and do what you did tonight

Paula - been to the hospital and back, didn't get to do the run through; you were fantastic

Simon -you should have flu every week; you were better this week; great, look beautiful; whoever is styling you is taking away your quirkiness

Megan Joy has dropped her last name in preparation for stardom. Baby Dust

She has some odd pronunciations. And I still hate that weird twisty thing she insists on doing.

OK, to me the Elephant in the LIving Room with Megan is those awful tatoos on her right arm.  She is totally gorgeous, but I find myself very distracted by the "artwork" on her arm.  I'll bet it would cost at least $10,000 to have those tatoos lasered off her arm, but even then it would be near impossilbe to totally erase them.

Of course, that's assuming anybody else is as fixated on her tatoos as I am????  Paranoid
