Nice. A little slow and boring but nicely done.


Randy - you went out on a limb to showcase your vocals; tender moments with my dawg Kris (blink)

Kira - didn't know it was Opryland, wasn't country, very beautiful; very Kris Allen

Paula - pleasantly surprised; honest, pure, vulnerable performance; w/o the guitar allowed me to remember how nice your vocals really are; smart choice

Simon -terrific; great choice of song; way you took it all back, completely in control of the song, didn't go over the top; first time I've heard you perform where I'm genuinely beginning to think you've got a shot in this competition

Whoa, Simon was actually positive for a change.  I really think Chris is a fabulous ballad singer.  He sort of reminded me of the  lead singer in  "Bread".   (Remember them way back when?)

Regarding the discussion about Paula .  I'm still not ready to completely give up on her because once in a while she does make a little bit of sense.  But then she does slip into the "yada yada" syndrom more often than not.

Lil Rounds - Independence Day - Martina McBride



Randy - ambitious song choice; struggled in the beginning but once you hit the chorus you hit your range and stride; it was just all right for me

Kira - we all know you're a great singer; during the second half we find the Lil we fell in love with; could have chosen other songs but you chose one you felt and stood your ground

Paula - vocal spot on; hair, clothing, make-up spot on; would have worked better if you had sung 2 verses before going to the chorus instead of 1

Simon -kind of came over as if you were one of those girls that are forced to sing a song at a wedding that someone requested and are uncomfortable; just didn't think it was you
